Felt even bigger
The pointed shape on my stomach felt like it was pointing at my problem area. I spent a little time trying to make it work with a sweater or camisole but decided my current apple shape was a total loss and send this one back unworn outside of my mirror. Pretty color and wished it had worked. I'm sure it would look great on someone else. the top is smooth and the skirt is awesome. I was trying to figure out if they were separates it might have worked better for me, because I loved the color but might have helped tone it down a bit. too much attention for me. I usually love dressed this one just didn't hit the right spots for my current body shape.

Spring day to night
I was really excited about this one and it did not live up to my expectations. The pattern was beautiful but the material was pretty much plain cotton and didn't lay well. It kind of bunched up making my boobs look bigger and it was already kind of short and didn't lay flat. It looked different in the picture. People did say it looked nice at the school family event so it stood out but not necessarily as beautiful as I expected. I liked the embroidery but again didn't love it. Always fun to mix it up and worth a try.

Great details
The tiny blue on the neck and wrist adds an awesome contrast that really goes great with anything. This sweater is not too loud - it's just right. perfect length for my long torso (not too short but if you are on the shorter torso side it's not too long either - great for all i think.

Whimsical Collar
I really liked this one! It took all black and made it more accessible. I wore it twice to a choir concert and a musical and it was sweet and more statment worthy than what I would have worn without Rent the Runway. Definitely helped make the occassions more memorable.

Smidge Warm for Spring
Very well made. loved the zipper. Laid excellently. Enjoyed mixing up my look with it this month and wore it three times with a wool under sweater shirt under. Loved the stripes for spring but it was a bit heavy material.

I really liked this bag. It's light. Looks great day and night. has two small pockets large enough for a key, cash, lipstick and lip liner. I also fit my phone. It looked a lot more polished than my phone wallet.

Brightened up my day
This color is a nice orange red. The fabric is medium thickness and not too heavy. I like the detail by the shoulder. I don't love the high to love shape and I did not tuck it in like the model. The theme for our opulent school fundraising gala was Puttin on the Ritz. A lot women wore black fringe dresses. This dress blended in great while standing apart a bit for its modern take on the theme. I liked how the dress had shape but also offered give. I wore a strappless bra and uses one piece of fashion tape that held all night. The clasp was really sewn in there but ultimately I was able to get ready on my own and surprise my husband, babysitter and three kids with my transformed look. The dress is lighter than it looks which is really fun. It does have an open hem so practice sitting before you leave. My heels were 3".

It's the little things
The theme for our opulent school fundraising gala was Puttin on the Ritz. A friend lent me black gloves for the theme. The ring matched my silver dress and fit right over the gloves. The hip picture showed it off nicely. When gloves were off I had a nice, mauve nail polish for an alternate matte look, which was on dusplay while eating. The ring was a great complete look.

Light and airy.
These earrings were really a standout. They were much lighter than I expected, which I liked. I picked them because they looked kind of purple/blue but they were closer to gray. They still worked really well with the dress and I think they could be great with black and other neutral colors because not as strong as I thought they would be. The backs made me a little nervous - wasn't sure they would hold but it was not an issue at all.

Danced the night away with grace and poise!
I really enjoyed wearing this dress and felt like the belle of the ball. The dress was beautiful without being too sexy or tight. As a Mom of two going to a family wedding I wanted to make a good impression, stand out but also look appropriate and pretty. I usually wear an 8 but my back needed a little extra room so I wore the 10 and used the fashion tape, which worked pretty well. It did not manage to stay up the whole time in the back with my son sitting on my lap and holding him etc, so I was glad I brought a shawl. I really liked the sweetheart neckline - much better than a straight one. I did not wear a necklace, but instead rented gorgeous earrings and wore hair down, curled.

I felt confident and was ready to have fun!
I wore this to a fundraiser for the daughter's school. Normal strapless bra worked well with no concerns. I'm 5'7" and it was a little long with just two inch heels but it didn't slow me down. I did pick it up when walking up stairs out of cab etc. It was a February night in Chicago but I did not feel cold. I have reddish hair and was always told not to wear red. I did it anyway and I'm glad I finally tested the waters!
