Eye Candy
I may regret not buying this dress. I got so many compliments, from strangers on the street even. It was great weight material for fall and I imaging spring/summer. The fit and sleeves were flattering and polished for work events, while also making me feel sexy on date night. Pockets are always a plus.

Paired with the Ralph Lauren navy blue skirt or a pair of black trousers for work events. Also dressed down with joggers. The open back was a nice touch but the front of the shirt was interesting on its own even when I was wearing a fall jacket.

I feel like I missed the memo on the shoulder pads when I rented. I made it work, but I already have broad shoulders so found the padding to make it too militant/futuristic a style. Otherwise, it was a fun way to dress up a pair of Vince navy shorts or Paige jeans.

Fun but Finicky Snaps
The shirt is a looser sweater fit vs. form-fitting, which I liked. My only complaint is that it took the collar kept unsnapping when I would put on the shirt. Once set, the snaps stayed mostly in place but any adjustments would require re-snapping.

Funky Sexy
I should have sized up but managed with wearing the skirt a little extra higher on my waist. The slit did not reveal too much. The pattern was beautiful. It may be more of a standing skirt than a sitting skirt because of the lining/draping but still comfortable.

The dress was great for professional outings to girls night. My only complaint was the belt is stitched in the front of the dress so you cannot play around with the look (I would have removed and added a leather belt or tied in the back personally).

Wedding After Party Flair
The center-front slit made this dress a bit too risky to wear on a wedding dance floor, but it is a sexy option for any cocktail party or seated dinners. It didn't exactly fall right over my hips (39") and bunched up ever so slightly. The fabric is also a bit stiff and doesn't flow like other slip dress styles; the flipside is that it works for colder weather.

Went down a size and still a bit loose
I ended up not wearing this to an October beach wedding, but it was one of my top contenders. As other reviewers mentioned, it is a bit big in the chest/waist, even after going down one size. Not sure if going down 2 sizes would have worked, but pinning/belting the waist may help make this dress feel less matronly.

Rehearsal Dinner Stunner
This dress made quite the statement--front and back. It was relatively easy to move in; the only reason why I wore it to a seated rehearsal dinner and cocktail party instead of the wedding reception with dancing was because of the deep/low-cut neckline making a nip-slip very likely. The other disappointing fit element was that the white lining around the collarbone/shoulders curled outward a bit instead of laying flat; this is probably something to do with my petite bra size and wider shoulders not being model form so give it a try.

Fall Beach Wedding Delight
Was worried this dress would be a tad casual, but I got a lot of compliments on this dress at an October beach wedding. The fit was formfitting but breathable and easy to dance in; the lacy straps sometimes fell off the shoulder, but nothing revealing, and a strapless bra did the trick.
