I wore this to my best friend's December engagement party. It was a stunning dress. I loved the back and the beautiful navy color. It's perfect for a holiday party, cocktail party, or special occasion. The zipper is totally finicky. My husband had to really really really pull to get it unzipped. It was a bit distressing, but we got it. There is no stretch in the waist area. Finally, I'm 140 pounds, 5'3, athletic build, a very traditional size six and a larger size 4. My chest wasn't wide enough to where the sides of the chest area laid flat. Totally only noticeable by me. This is a beautiful dress and I would rent it again. I'm considering the long version in black for an upcoming wedding!

I am typically a 6, but felt the L was a bit more forgiving compared to the medium. Ideally there would have bee a between size. Regardless of the body fit, the straps around the neck were too loose and the busy area was too loose on my 34C chest. I used fashion tape to secure both, but still had to keep an eye on it. The merlot color is perfect for fall. Although I wouldn't rent this dress again, I still love RTR and am already looking forward to my next rental on 12/15!

This dress was a hit for a Friday formal wedding in Athens, GA. It was so fun to move in! I ordered the small and the medium, but ended up wearing the medium. However, the small fit better in some places where the medium was too loose. For example, the back of the dress is open and this was too large for me in the medium. But, I was a little self conscious of how body curving the small was around my booty, especially at a wedding. I think I switched which size I was wearing four times. I wore it with sticky boobs and had to tape the medium to me because of the size difference around that part of my body. The small required no sticky boobs nor tape. I'm a size 6 on an everyday basis. I think I would definitely rent this again because I love lace and navy and open backs. I just wish the sizing was little more consistent throughout the garment! Overall, I feel you can never go wrong with RTR.

I rented this dress for my fall-themed bridal shower in October of 2015. The color was absolutely perfect. I gave this dress four stars because of this fit around the butt and hips. I'm almost always a 6, and am the occasional 4, but I ordered up thanks to other reviews and ended up wearing the 8! I am 5'2 and the dress was short. It was fine to sit and wiggle in, but I had to bend down for a picture and was a little nervous about what might be seen! I got a little hot in it at one point, but that could have been nerves/attention! Bottom line, go up a size for your back up and you won't be disappointed!

I wore this to an indoor June wedding. Ceremony was at a church, so I really appreciated the added coverage, yet still very fashionable. The reception was indoor at a country club. I am 5'2, wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. In fact, it could have even been a bit shorter for someone my height! Only con- the zipper is a pain. There's so much extra fabric around the middle section, that it's hard to zip...definitely a two person job. But, not enough to knock the dress. The color is more dark coral than deep red - I loved that for a summer wedding!

This dress was such a hit. The color is even better in person - as other reviews note. I am 5'2 and it wasn't too short at all. I was nervous it would be, but it was more than perfect. I was choosing between the 6 and the 4 and the arms on the 4 were a little snug for my liking. The 6 was perfect. If you're choosing between this and any other dress-pick this dress.
