I was looking for something fun and unique to wear out to dinner for my birthday with my husband and the dress was perfect! Fits true to my normal JCrew size 6. It was also super comfortable and lightweight for a warm summer evenings. The only con is it did come pretty wrinkled but I just steamed it or a couple minutes and it was good the rest of the night.

Based on reviews, I rented a 6 and an 8 in this dress. While the 8 would've fit (I'm 30G in the bust and 28 in waist), I couldn't even zip it up because I couldn't get them over my arms! The lace has no stretch to it. I have fairly muscular though lean arms. While sometimes dresses may fit a bit snug in the arms, I've never not been able to put the dress on because they were so tight. I wouldn't recommend if you have a more athletic build.

This dress was perfect for a black tie optional wedding! I received so many compliments! I'm 5'7" and wore 2.5" heels. The dress was just slightly off the ground which was perfect for dancing! I have a 30G bust and 27" waist. The SR fit great. While I could wear a strapless bra with it, it tended to show once I moved around a big so I just ended up wearing a sticky backless bra. I still felt secure throughout the night.

I wore this for my holiday office party in Chicago. The material was nice and thick for a winter event and the embroidery was so pretty/unique. I have a larger bust, 34DD, and the medium fit my bust perfectly. I do have narrower hips so the bottom part was a little big. The dress length was perfecf for a work event, hitting just at the knee. Some other reviewers mentioned the slit being high, I did notice a little when sitting down but since the skirt was so long, it wasn't inappropriate at all.

Absolutely loved this dress! I'm 34DD and have broad shoulders so a lot of dresses I've rented tend to be tight up top. I was worried when the large wasn't available but based on other reviews I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did! If anything the top was a tad loose. The back is a little low for a bra. I could've gotten away going without one but opted for a backless bra just for a bit more coverage. Overall the dress was so comfortable and I felt beautiful in it!

I loved that I could wear this dress without a jacket. The material was thick I was comfortable bar hopping in Chicago when it was about 40-50 degrees outside. The large was a little more comfortable under the busy (I'm a 34DD) but was a stretched out from previous users and surprisingly a bit too long in the skirt and arms. I ended up wearing the medium which was the perfect length but was a bit tighter under the bust. Overall super comfortable to wear dancing all night!

This dress perfectly fit the pink theme at the Kentucky Oaks. I got a lot of complements. The fabric is a little thinner than some other Lilly dresses I've worn but was very comfortable wearing all day in the sun. I'm a DD the fit on top was a little tight, but didn't really bother me. The neckline was really flattering and not too low.

Both my friend and I rented our dresses from RTR for her bachelorette party. I got a ton of compliments on the dress. Both the M and L fit but I ended up wearing the M. The dress material is very comfortable and kept me warm even on a chilly April evening in Chicago. I did have a little trouble getting the sleeves on with the delicate lace because my arms are more muscular. Once on, however, the sleeves never bothered me throughout the night. I was nervous wearing a backless dress since I have a larger bust. I ended up wearing a nubra with the dress and felt really comfortable especially since the fit and material of the dress kept everything in the right place. I did try on the dress with a regular nude bra though and it was barely noticeable through the lace back. If I could buy wear the dress again I definitely would!
