The dress wasn't available in an S, so I rented the XS and the M. The medium was far too big, and the extra small was tight, but wearable. Initially I could scarcely breathe, but then it loosened up, a little too much. By the end of the dance I was swimming in it. On a good note, the dress photographed beautifully and it really showed off my figure. I would recommend this dress, but not for a dance; as it was a little too plain for the occasion and limited mobility due to the construction of the dress. I would definitely rent a Herve Leger again.

It was very form fitting, as depicted in the stock photo. It looked great! IF you were standing completely still, the second I moved it would bunch up around the waist and the sleeves would move over my shoulders. It is a very flattering dress, I wouldn't recommend wearing it for a dance if you're looking to have a good time.

I usually bounce between a four and a six, I ordered both and ended up wearing the four. And it was still a little big, in the back where the zipper is located, there was a gap between my back and the zipper. It wasn't a big problem at the beginning of the night, but by the time I went to take it off I didn't have to put forth much effort since it had stretched out so much. I recommend getting a size smaller and your normal size. If you're a tall girl like myself, I wouldn't recommend breaking out your highest of heels unless you would like your toes to be exposed. You could see my shoes, but I didn't really mind. The stock photo doesn't do the color of the dress justice, it's a little darker than depicted. Great dress! Very figure flattering, I would not recommend it to anyone with even a slight belly. The dress is accommodating for any dance move you would wish to break out of your archive to display on the dance floor, so no worries there. If you want to stand out without the effort, this dress is for you.
