just okay
I rented these for a trip to Florida in July (hot!) thinking that they would be lightweight and breathable, but the material is too heavy (plus a full lining). Admittedly, I should have looked closer at the material in the description, but I also didn't care for the style once on... nothing remarkable.

I think this is meant to be rather large, flowing, and long, so i'm not sure other reviewers are so overwhelmed by the size. I'm sure, though, you could get away with going a size smaller than your usual size. I love black and thought this would be more flirty, but I just found it to be a little too witchy/matronly. I'm 5'3 and I think the bell sleeves are overwhelming on a shorter frame. There is no stretch or give, so the 12 was too small for me.

very pretty and i liked the heavy material. I was hoping there might be a little give, but it's a true designer 12. I can often get away with a 12, but with the unforgiving side zipper, it was just too small. also, i'm 5'3 and the size 12 was too long.

Definitely too sparkly/shimmery for the office. Hem has "fringe" which is discreet but not for me.
I was hoping it would run a little large, but it is a true designer 12. So it was too small. I can often get away with a 12, but there is no give in this and it has a size zipper (which are kind of evil)

Very chic!
I usually wear a 12, but only a size 10 was available so i gave it a shot. It fit slightly snug, but completely wearable and still flattering. It's so chic and cute. It comes above the knee, and I'm only 5'3... but I knew that from the reviews and I wanted something shorter so I was pleased. I loved how it fit over my shoulders. I would definitely order this one again. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner and stood out from all of the boring, typical wedding-guest dresses.

Everything you've ever wanted in a dress! I'm 5'3 and 174 pounds with a large bust.
This is probably the most flattering dress I've ever worn. I can't say enough about how well this fit, how it minimized all of my problem areas, how it slimmed my figure, how it supported my large chest... how it made me feel sexy! I got so many compliments on it -- it's striking and people notice. It's a stretchy material, but it's thick and supportive, which is what you need to suck you in and smooth you out. It does go on tight, but it's the right kind of tight. I didn't even wear any kind of Spanx. I have a 40DDD chest and I was worried that this would not support me well or that the built-in padding would look ridiculous... or that i would be spilling out of it. Not the case at all! I suppose there was a bit of an outline from the padding that you could kind of notice, showing that it didn't fully cover my big boobs, but it's really not worth mentioning -- it certainly didn't take away from the look of the dress. This is one of the few dresses I've ever been able to wear without a bra -- which is a huge plus! I asked if I could buy it, but it's not available for sale, so I've got to find it elsewhere. I would wear it to every event and not care who had already seen me in it. This is the kind of classic dress that will carry you through the years.
