This dress does not run true to fit. It definitely runs small. I generally wear size 2 or 4 and rented this in a 4. I would have needed at least the 6 for it not to be pulling dramatically all over my body. My husband's description I think says it all: "If you want to look like Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny, you can wear that dress".

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! However it definitely runs small. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and definitely needed a 6 or 8. The top gave me "wings" unless I held my arms the way the model does in the picture and the slip is VERY short with a slit that shows way too much butt. I'd recommend ordering 1 size up and having a black slip handy. I'd definitely try renting it again for another occasion - this time in size 6!
