So many compliments! The perfect black tie optional wedding guest dress
My RTR rental had three dresses and this was my backup. I ordered a 6 and a 10 in another dress (and both were too snug) and ended up going with this one despite it being a 4R. The lace-up tie in the back allows the size to be pretty forgiving. The chest area on this dress was too big, but the built in pads gave the illusion of it fitting. The dress was also super long, even in four inch heels. I switched off to one-inch heels for the reception and just held up my dress. Overall, this was a win!

Compliments all night long
I rented this dress for a wedding in Texas. For sizing, I ordered a small with a medium as backup. I'm in between a small and medium in most clothes, but the small was pretty roomy on me, so I went with that size for the event. I didn't even try on the medium. In regards to the dress itself, it was a little closer to bubblegum pink than the online picture (see my photo for a more accurate take), which was fine for me but could be a problem for those wanting the blush color. I also think this dress's lace overlay is a little more fun than regular lace - almost like a crochet effect. It also feels like crochet and is thicker but doesn't restrict movement. I wore a normal bra/underwear, but I realized part way through the night that you could see my straps through the lace on the shoulder. Oh well! Overall, I got lots of compliments on this dress (my family now just asks "Rent the Runway again?" and I say "yep!"). I would highly recommend it.

The perfect balance of classy and fun!
This dress fit like a glove. The material was a little stretchy, so I was able to wear a 4 as opposed to a 6 if it didn't have any give. I liked that I was able to wear my regular bra with this dress as well. I was very comfortable all night long through dinner and dancing.

Perfect mix of classy and sexy!
This dress was perfect! The 4, my usual size, would've been way too tight. So glad I went with the 6! I went braless since the bottom of a bra would hang out of the slit at the side. The material was thick enough to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. Overall, a lovely choice for any formal occasion.

Three words: compliments from strangers.
When I saw this dress online, I knew it was a must-have for my cousin's summer wedding. I requested a 2 for my main size and a 0 for my back-up. I would have certainly gone with the 2 since it was most comfortable. However, the dress appeared to be repaired from past damages. For example, both sleeves had an extra pin in them that may have been put there from ripped lace (the lace seemed very delicate). I didn't notice the pins at first, but once I did, they were distracting and took away from the overall look in my opinion. I went with the more in-tact yet less comfortable 0. I still fit in the 0, which is why I say the dress may run large, but I didn't have as much room as I would have liked. Note: be prepared to have someone help you with fastening the back. The top part has bra-like clasps and requires great skill to hook by oneself. Overall, the dress was gorgeous. I went without a bra since the back dips low and chose nude heels with a gold watch (skip the necklace for this dress). I got lots of compliments- royal blue seemed to be the color of the night! Great rental as always; I love RTR. I just wish they hadn't sent me a dress in less-than-great condition.

This dress is STUNNING.
Please excuse the mirror pic! I unfortunately had to return this gown because the event I rented it for got canceled. However, that didn't stop me from trying it on :) I normally wear a 2, but the 0R fit like a glove. I could imagine needing to pull the gown up every so often to adjust, but not to the point where it would be bothersome. I loved how slimming this dress was. NOTE: The dress is fairly long. Wearing anything but 4" inch heels is not an option if you're around 5' 4" like me. Overall, this gown was stunning, and I plan to rent it again for my next formal event.

These earrings were beautiful. They weren't too heavy, and they complimented my gown without drawing too much attention. I feel these earrings could compliment almost any formal dress. They helped complete my prom look!

This dress made me feel like a star on prom night!
I ordered a 0L and a 2L because I had read the dress ran large. Even though I usually wear a 2, I went with the 0 because it fit perfectly. I was terrified the gown was going to be TOO long, even with my 5 inch heels, and I considered getting a different gown at the last minute, but I am so glad I didn't! The bottom of the dress skimmed the floor perfectly with my heels, and even when I put on flats to dance in, it wasn't overwhelmingly long. I got compliments the entire night, ranging from "You look like you belong at the Oscars!" to "You look like Vanna White!" This dress is fantastic. The only (and I mean only) downside was the sleeves were a tad restricting, and I couldn't lift my arms terribly high. Even still, this dress was beautiful, and I was so sad I had to send it back! Side notes: I was able to wear this dress without a bra. I wore nude heels. The dress was a bit more pink-tinted in person.

I felt like a princess; no one else had a dress like mine!
This was my first time using RTR, and it exceeded my expectations. The dresses arrived in perfect condition. I ordered a 2R and 4R, but I only needed to try on the 2R because it fit wonderfully. The only thing that was a little bit of a pain was the length. I had to wear four inch heels, and even then, it gathered around my feet a bit. Other than that, the dress was perfect and I'll certainly be using RTR again soon.
