Fancy!
I rented this dress for a beach vacation and totally misjudged the style. The material is beautiful but it's a heavy satin/silk with a lot of detail. I felt like I could have gotten married in this dress (a good thing if that's the event I was shopping for). It's much fancier than I expected! I found the waist to run a little small, and there is no give in the tailoring. Gorgeous dress for the right event (not the beach or weekend brunch).

Slightly weird fit
I am between a 2-4 and went with a 4 because I didn't want the buttons gaping in the front. The fit was good (and a 2 would have pulled at the waist) except that the arm holes seem abnormally large? I loved the fabric and style of the dress so might see if I can wear a slip that will work with it, but it's just... not quite right on me. Maybe would work on someone with a bigger chest?

Great dress
Wore this to my business casual office and made it a little more professional (and defined) with a black belt. LOVED it - although my mom told me it looked like it was from the 70s and my boss told me it was from the 40s. I think they were both compliments. ;) One word of warning - it isn't lined, and I dealt with crazy static cling all day because of the weight of the silk.

Runs huge!
Love the fabric and detail of this but it runs HUGE. I'm pretty consistently a 4 in dresses for work, but the 4 was so big in the shoulders/bust that it was literally falling off. The cut was very bizarre. I would recommend going down at least one full size (if not 2)?

Beautiful silk, but not lined?
This dress is a beautiful print and cut, but it is an incredibly lightweight silk and there is no lining. Would definitely recommend a light slip underneath. Also, there is a LOT of fabric. The picture is accurate, but don't underestimate the size of the sleeves or the length (I'm 5'7 and it was midi - between knee and ankle). Really pretty for a spring party, but I couldn't quite figure out how to wear it in March in NYC.

Boho style, longer than expected
Really pretty material and very heavy - perfect for winter. I had hoped to wear it with tall black boots to work but it's longer than I expected. I'm 5'6 and it's almost to my ankle (I'm guessing that model is 5'10?). Very cool, but too 70's to pull off in my business casual office. Fits true to size, I'm usually a 2/4 and the S was perfect. There's a little stretch in the waist which helps.

Good basic black maternity dress
This is a very fitted dress, and is more flattering when you have a bump on the larger side. At 36 weeks, 5'6/155lbs I wore the 2 and it fit but was definitely snug. Probably should have gone with the 4.

Weird ruffles
Loved the color and material, but the ruffles on the side are super weird. The last thing you want when pregnant is extra material on the side of your body, and I found the cut and hang of this to be very unflattering. Bummer, because RTR needs more cute maternity tops!

Great for maternity
Worked great for maternity, although the shoulders kept sliding up, and then it was a little dangerously short on the bump. At 36 weeks pregnant, 150lbs and 5'6, the S was a great fit with plenty of room for the belly, and just long enough.

Very flattering! Works great for maternity too.
Wore this a ton from 35-38 weeks pregnant and was super flattering and comfortable. The smocked top grows with your belly and there is plenty of room in the skirt. I am 5'6 and about 155lbs at 38 weeks, and the MR was perfect, with a little extra room. Got lots of compliments on this one.

GREAT maternity dress
Great maternity dress! I wore it a ton from 35-38 weeks, and at 5'6, 155lbs-ish the M was perfect. It's definitely snug, but flattering. The cotton is stretchy but super thick, so hides everything you need. One word of warning - it's fairly lowcut and the lacing gaps a little. I'm only a B-C cup so it wasn't too much cleavage for me, but you might need a camisole if you're better endowed than I am.

Runs very small!
I would definitely go up at least a full size from your pre-maternity weight. I'm currently 5'6, 150lbs at 7.5 months pregnant (size 2/S before pregnancy) and I couldn't even zip a size S in this dress. There is no stretch so it needs to really fit correctly. I'm going to return to try a M.
