romantic gown!
I rented this dress for a mardi gras ball but I did not end up wearing it. I think this dress is more suited for a black tie wedding or some other formal affair since it seems to me to be a bit more on the romantic side. this dress fit very well. it has a great little inner bra that zips up separately from the dress which gives your girls a little more support and makes itself more versatile by giving you the option to tuck the straps in and go strapless. although I did not end up wearing it for this event, I would absolutely consider renting it again for something else. highly recommended!

fantastic gown!!
I received this dress as a back up for my backup dress. right before my order was set to ship, RTR let me know that my backup size was unavailable an they offered to replace it with another dress, regardless of price! unfortunately, I was unable to wear this dress as I made a goof and ordered the dress in a regular size - not knowing there were petite sizes available. although it fit fantastic and would have suited my mardi gras ball, this dress ended up being several feet too long! there was no way I could have managed to drag that extra material around without ruining it. it was a gorgeous dress that fit amazing, but was just too long for me to wear. I would absolutely consider this dress again in the appropriate length!

fun, flirty, and feminine!
I rent this as part of an early birthday celebration for myself. this dress was so fun! about the fit: for starters, it is not nearly as short as it seems on the model. I am 5 feet tall and it was right at my knees. I can't imagine the length being an issue for anyone other than someone with AMAZINGLY long legs. I did not have any issues with the sleeves being too tight. I thought everything about the fit was fine and it fit true to size for me and the navy was dark enough to where most people would probably not have even noticed that it wasn't actually black. the only issue about renting this dress is the condition of the tulle. I rented two sizes, 2 & 4, and the difference in the tulle was glaring! in my case, the size 2 was in far better condition than the 4, which looked very ragged and was even a far lighter faded pink than the other dress. personally, i think that a dress in that condition should probably not continue to be circulated. i would have been disappointed if they had both looked like that. but, i guess that's just a risk you take when you rent a dress sight unseen! basically, i loved this dress. I've never worn tulle and i felt very girly and very pretty in this. with the tulle intact, i highly recommend this dress for just about ANY occasion!

this was a backup dress rented for a mardi gras ball (which is why i did not have a backup size). unfortunately, i do not have any decent pics of this dress to show, but the reason i did not wear it is that it runs extremely large at the top of the dress. it's a shame too, because otherwise, the dress was a great fit and a beautiful color. i think this dress would be great for someone with a longer torso, as i could not figure out a way to salvage the sizing issue without being uncomfortable the entire night. but definitely be prepared to tape the center of the dress, as it can be a bit revealing. otherwise, this could have been a beautiful dress!

THE COLOR!!
i rented this dress for a mardi gras ball, and i wanted something that no one else would be wearing. boy did i choose the right dress! i spent hours pouring over RTR before making my decision and after it was all said and done with, i ended up seeing all of my other front-runners worn by someone else at the ball! what makes this dress stand apart is the color. it's a gorgeous golden yellow and NO ONE was wearing a color anything like this. as for the fit, it ran a bit long on me and you will most probably need SPANX to smooth things out. the no-shoulder side was a bit large under my arm and had to be safety pinned. i also had to tape the seam at the top down, as it was not sewn. all in all, this is a great dress. it was very comfortable and the color is a standout! i HIGHLY recommend it!

comfort & style!!
first of all, let me just say that you pretty much can NOT go wrong with anything badgley mischka. i rented this dress for my birthday dinner at a STELLAR new restaurant. this dress was *perfect*. the material is sturdy and the sequins are just enough to be able wear to a nice dinner without looking like you're in a club and not a restaurant. i highly recommend this dress. it's a dress i could even commit to buying!

looks better on the model
i rented this dress in a size 2 and a 4, and ended up wearing neither. in fact, i wouldn't give it any stars if the website would allow it. seeing as how this dress had no previous reviews, i thought i'd take a chance because i really liked the way it looked in the picture. i would be going to a party that was indorr/outdoor and thought a long-sleeved dress would keep me from freezing. the size 2 fit well on my body, but **the sleeves were much wider/baggier on me than you'd think.** they were not fitted to my arms. overall this dress gave the impression of being WAY too conservative and wasn't at all sexy like the picture. it has so much potential that just did not come across for me. i ended up wearing a dress from my own closet.

sexy yet appropriate
i rented this dress for an evening outdoor wedding. i thought it would be the perfect mix of sex appeal and modesty, which it was. but fair warning: the nude slip of the dress does not have much stretch and can make your "girls" look stuffed into your bra & dress. the S was a great fit, with the exception of the chest area. i am a 34C and had to pin the middle of the V to hide the unsightly muffin top the slip created. (the seams of the slip were obviously sewn with smaller-chested women in mind). the one thing that i DID find very disappointing about the dress was that the nude slip on the dress i'd worn had WHITE straps, not nude. it was almost as if someone replaced the straps (perhaps another renter had broken?) without thinking how OBVIOUS the WHITE straps inside a black & nude dress would be. this was my second time renting from RTR and it will not be my last, but i would expect more attention to detail, especially on a $410 dress.

having the opportunity to wear designer dresses and NOT pay a fortune for them!
i rented this dress to wear to a mardi gras ball. it was a last-minute decision to try and rent a gown, and i was unable to get a back-up size, but the size i chose ended up fitting PERFECTLY. it's nice that there is no train on this dress, so it was one less thing for me to worry about ruining during the ball. overall, it was very comfortable to wear and it looked AMAZING. i can't see myself ever buying dresses for special occasions again. my experience with RTR could not have been better!

having the opportunity to wear such amazing dresses!
this dress was fantastic! i rented this dress for a friend's birthday dinner and surprise party. i ordered a size 0 and a size 2 and was able to fit into the 0 with NO trouble. the dress was NOT tight in any areas and on my short body, the length was just perfect. i would suggest keeping an eye on the lace detail, as it can be at risk for catching on things and tearing. just keep an eye on what you lean against! (apologies for the body-shot, it was an accident, but i think it's a good close-up of the dress.) :)
