i wanted a fun, unique dress for a friend's wedding on new year's eve and felt this dress fit the bill. i don't typically wear this shade of blue but the color was really nice and popped. i ordered both the 2 and the 4 after reading other reviews to size up and i'm glad i did - the 2 fit but the 4 was more comfortable! the only downside for me was the shoulder pieces; they just seemed a bit random. i was able to tuck them under and they stayed all night without double-sided tape, so no biggie!

i rented this dress in a pinch after being invited last minute to a black-tie charity event. i don't own a floor-length gown so was in a bind and came across this dress. the fit was pretty good - maybe slightly droopy (and size 0 is usually NOT droppy on me!) but it fit the bill for my event and is a classy dress.

i loved all of the detail on this dress. it's definitely unique and i got lots of compliments on it. would wear it again in a heartbeat!

the slit IS pretty high (as expected according to other reviews) but the only time it really became a bit inappropriate was when we sat down to dinner. the sash also came unclasped very easily (it's just fastened with a snap) so that became kind of annoying at times, but other than that i really loved wearing this dress.
