Since this is two pieces I ordered 2/4 in the skirt and a 2 in the top( since I'm very small chested I was not as worried about only having one size in the top). I tend to wear either a 2 or a 4 depending on the brand. But this skirt is meant to sit on your natural waist not hips so you might find your self sizing down so that it fits snuggle (it is meant to be high waisted and it looks best this way). This fit amazingly and with the skirt sitting higher it did not show to much tummy and is very flattering. The tea length of the skirt gives it so much class and elegance. I wore this to an outdoor wedding in Virginia and I was very comfortable. Its definitely a heavier fabric but the lining is very breathable. This top/skirt combo can be worn all year- for sure! Now on to what matters even more, The best part of this outfit... the compliments... SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! I did not know a lot of people at this wedding and I had so many women and men stop me to tell me how much they loved my outfit!!! It was amazing... <3

Dress fit great. Really well made and nice heavy fabric. Got tons of compliments, especially from people i did not know. Wore a regular bra with a strap extender that helps lower the back strap just enough to not peak out the back. Was great to dance in, poofy for twirling and hi-lo hem meant no stepping on the dress. LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress!

This dress was a quick decision-it was a back up to another dress(for a wedding) I was renting that did not have my back up size. It fit great and I liked it so much I wore it to the rehearsal dinner the night before. My only con is that I am 5'9 and the dress definitely felt short- to dress it down and to make it feel not so short- I wore really cute taupe flats with gold ankle chain! I also paired the dress with all gold accessories- hair down and wavy! felt dressed up but comfortable! Oh and the color is great!

with the right accessories makes a great fall dress! Agree with other comments fit does run large received size 4 (my normal) and 2 (wore the 2). do have to wear strapless bra- but love how it dips in the back great detail. loved how it fit through the bust and waist into an Aline skirt very flattering and party ready! im tall (5'9) and the dress was a great length not too short. cant see in the picture but paired with gold heels and multiple bracelets
