This dress was fine. It definitely had an elegant feel to it and drew compliments, but it didn't have the "wow" vibe I was hoping for. The fit was tricky - I have more muscular arms so I had to size up because the sleeves run a bit small. This left the dress a bit loose on my waist, which was made more obvious by the ruching on it. I normally like off the shoulders looks, but this one has an almost droopy vibe. Again, the dress worked, it just had several issues too. A big thing was the way the boning pokes out at the top and bottom. This may be because I had to size up for the arms to fit. I also made the mistake of wearing it to an outdoor wedding- it was hot!!! This dress does not breathe. Like others have said, it's a little long in the back, but I didn't have much of an issue with it. I paired it with pearls which I think made the look more interesting. Overall, it was nice for the event but I wish I'd explored other options.

I loved this dress! I wore it for my bridal shower. It had a very elegant vibe to it. The slight texture on the dress added interest and drew a lot of compliments! On the slightly negative side: it does run slightly large. I liked that it wasn't perfectly form fitting because it was appropriate for the event, but if you want it a bit tighter I would size down. It also seemed a touch short when I sat down, but I only noticed because it was my bridal shower so I was sitting in front of everyone opening gifts. I will say, I'm usually a big fan of one shoulder looks and this checked that box for me. I have slightly more built shoulders so I like that it adds some softness while highlighting my collar bone.

In all fairness to this dress, I did not select it. The initial dress I had wanted was unavailable at the last minute so this one was sent instead. Even at a glance, this dress did not appeal to me. I had the chance to confirm it in person. It felt a bit like a tent once I was wearing it, and the ruffles on it felt a bit cheap. The material itself was a bit wrinkled and stiff. The dress itself seemed very short. I'm average height at 5'5", so it's rare for me to find a dress that has that problem! In addition, the angle of the cap sleeves was not very flattering on my shoulders. The fit itself was fine! It was the overall texture and way the dress hung that made me dislike it.

The necklace was the perfect delicate, gold pop to a red dress I rented. It was, however, much smaller than I expected! I knew it was a choker, but it felt a bit tight even at the loosest hook. Any tighter, and I think it would have been an unflattering dig into my neck. I don't wear a lot of chokers, so maybe it's more that I'm not used to the fit. I don't think of my neck as anything but average in size, so I think it would likely feel a bit tight for most people. Still, it checked the box I was looking for and made for a nice, easy compliment with the dress I wore.

I wore this dress for a friend's outdoor wedding on Labor Day. The weather was incredibly warm, but this dress was breathable enough that I was still as comfortable as one can be in one hundred degree temperatures. The fit was a bit odd - I ended up sizing up to a Large because of the way the off-the-shoulder strap hit. I thought it was a bit more flattering if it hung more loosely off the shoulder. I'm normally a 6 or an 8 depending on the brand. So while I said it runs a bit small, it's mostly in the shoulder area, not so much through the waist. I think my one draw back with the dress was that the architecture of it didn't pop as much as I had hoped, so it wasn't quite as big of a statement as I had originally hoped. Overall, it was definitely a great rental that had a lot of compliments! I paired it with gold accessories, including gold heels, which worked very nicely.

This dress is very cute, but not quite suited for my body type. I'm something between an hourglass and athletic figure, so I tend to have a smaller waist and thicker shoulders and arms. Both the 6 and the 8 fit a bit loose around my waist but very tight across my chest and ribs. I got a bit of the spillage in the chest area by the arms because of how the dress fit. It was that pressed down sort of feeling, and definitely not flattering. Because of the odd fit, I decided not to wear this for the event. The fabric was a nice quality: thick enough to feel covered but light enough to work in hot weather. I also really liked the length of the dress. I'm 5'5" and it hit at a flattering point on my thighs. I'm disappointed it didn't work out, but the fit through the chest and into the arms was a deal breaker for me.

This necklace was sent when I selected the 'add mystery bling' option. It was the perfect addition for the Such a Tease Dress I rented, which was essentially a little black dress. The size of the necklace was perfect. It wasn't quite as long as I expected on the chain, but when I had it at the last notch it set just fine (the top of the gems at my collar bone). The necklace was definitely my favorite part of my outfit for the night. The color on the gems is a little more yellow/gold than the crystal/off white it appears in the picture, but that was fine since I was wearing black. Great piece!

The dress itself was very slimming, and ran true to size. I tried on my back up size, the Large, first, but the zipper would not go over the part where the material changes. Luckily, the Medium fit perfectly and had no trouble with the zipper. The dress itself was super comfortable, it was nice to feel both covered and sexy. It did really exaggerate my hourglass figure, which I liked. If you have wider hips it may make you feel a bit uncomfortable though. As some others have mentioned, the cut outs are incredibly subtle when it's on. Overall, it was a great piece, but maybe not a stand-out. I had the surprise bling option, and the necklace (gold shadow bib necklace) they sent was really the exciting and eye catching part of my outfit.

This dress was selected for me when my original choice proved unavailable. The fit was fantastic, but the cut along the top was odd. I liked the length (just beyond my fingertips when my hands were held at my side) as well as the detail around the skirt. The top, however, was a bit boring and not flattering. The blocky cut along the neck and armline made me feel like a square shape rather than highlighting my hourglass shape. I felt the top was made a bit dull by the lack of detail on most of the dress as well. I felt like a wall of purple with some lace detail at the very bottom. I'm sure playing around with accessories could have helped allay that issue, but I was not enamored with the cut enough to try. That said, it would make a reliable dress for an event where you'd like an edge of style but minimal sex appeal. Customer service was fantastic and overnighted two alternatives to my hotel, one of which I ended up loving and wearing.

I received this dress as one of my back ups for a recent event. I didn't end up wearing this one, but I did really like it. The fit of the Medium was perfect, and the cut was very flattering. It was just a touch more revealing than what I wanted to go with for my work related event however, mostly because of the fitted look combined with the lace and amount of skin showing. The color is very true to the image. I also liked that the zipper was hidden in a layer under the lace layer, giving a seamless appearance.

I ordered this dress in the equivalent of a 6 and an 8, but unfortunately the 6 was unavailable last minute. They still sent the 8, and I tried it on thinking it may run small since it isn't a mall dress. The 8 was far too big, to the point where it fell off of me. Beyond just being too large, the straps ran long even for its size, leaving either half my bra exposed or I could have pinned it and given an odd loop or gap on the straps. It was also a touch longer than I expected. I'm 5'5" and it covered most of my knees. Again, the dress wasn't technically in my size, and nor was it awful, it just wasn't what I had expected. Luckily customer service was fantastic and let me order a back up dress which I ended up wearing.
