Rented for a white party during a cold snap in January 2004. I loved how everything came together and the shiny elements of the dress were just gorgeous. Wearing a bra is not possible with this dress so it’s either a sticky bra or nothing. The dress fit me SO different than the model but I expected that, but it still pooled on the floor with 4 inch heels! I rented this while I was losing weight and wasn’t certain of my size; I probably should have sized down to a 6. My weight at this time was about 125 lbs.

Rented this in November 2023 when I was losing weight and was about size 8. It fit well but smooshed me up top into a uniboob. I was able to gather the fabric enough to make the length work for my height but the zipper in back then bunched. It’s a gorgeous dress and I received lots of compliments, this is just me being picky about issues I had.

Wore to black tie optional wedding after my original dress was unavailable to ship and thrilled it worked out! I was nervous because there were no reviews and I am 5’1” but the length ended up being perfect with heels. Size 0 probably would have been just a little better fit but not enough to be noticeable. The zipper wasn’t difficult but I definitely needed someone to help with the hooks on the neck. Received MANY compliments!

I literally had women I didn’t know ask to take their photo with me! The colors were so vivid and the embroidery/embellishments impeccable, it was absolutely stunning. I have had my eye on this dress and have no idea how I’ll ever find one I love as much. Granted, it was a bit long even with 4” heels but I’m 5’1” and expected that. I was able to pick up the front when I walked and it was no problem. No need for a bra but be prepared for cleavage if you are full busted. I was able to wear shape wear which just made me more comfortable. I am short waisted and the dress was definitely longer waisted. That may have been different if I were wearing a smaller size that was more “appropriate” for my height or if it were offered in petite. Regardless, it was scrumptious!

This dress! This was my first experience with RTR and it was amazing! I had two formal events in one weekend and both dresses were fabulous. I only rented this dress in 10R so just had one shot at it fitting - it was super long on my 5'1" frame (hence the shoe pic - these are the shoes I wore and the dress was still a little long, but I was able to pick the front up to walk). I didn't carry a bag because I could carry my ID, lipstick, mirror, etc IN MY POCKETS!!! Awesome! I'd say the only cons are the gap on the sides (you can see in the front view) particularly when the straps start to slide down. Also be careful of any wardrobe malfunctions if you don't use any tape!

First RTR experience and I was not disappointed! I had two formal events in one weekend and both dresses were phenomenal! This dress fit like a glove - I also rented a size up just in case but the 8P was perfect! The fabric was thick enough to be forgiving - but make sure to wear Spanx or body shapers to keep everything smooth. I'm 5'1" and have a shorter torso and noticed that the boning made the dress bunch - only after sitting - at the zipper. It just took a quick trip to the restroom to adjust and voila! Perfect again!
