But long on petites! If I could have trimmed it by 4-6 inches it would have been perfect! Just felt a little costume-y on me

Great fit on bottom, too revealing on top
Did not fit me like the model at all on top and ended up being too revealing for the occasion. Just a warning for larger busts. That said, I loved the fabric and felt like it fit great everywhere else. Could have potentially worn in the right setting.

Comfortable but hated the sleeves
Just ok IMO. I liked the fabric and weight but disliked the sleeves so much. Not flattering and just seemed like an unnecessary feature on what could have been a cute lounge piece.

Not my favorite rails jacket
I have rented a few jackets and coats by Rails that I loved. I liked the split design on this one but the fabric could have been better. Wrinkled easily and had to be steamed before each wear. Went up a size to layer underneath but the fabric itself wasn’t sturdy enough and you could see the outlines of sleeves etc which made it look cheap.

Great color, room for improvement on fit
Selected based on the color (which is great) but the filling on the one I received had shifted probably during cleaning creating an unflattering fit in back. The cropped length was also a miss for me- especially when zipped. I usually go for cropped lengths on jackets because of my height but this was too short above the waistline and just looked strange. A few small tweaks and this could have been great!

If you have any sort of bust, this will end up being fairly cropped. I sized up so it wasn’t a dealbreaker but did not end up with the fit I envisioned.

Material was stiffer/more synthetic than I expected. Runs small IMO if you want a fit like the model has (which I did). If you want to wear this open or want a tighter fit, stick to your regular size. Very cute colors and print!

Breezy fabric, strange strap placement
Overall the dress is easy to throw on and very lightweight for summer weather. My only issue was with the straps. On me they were positioned at the edge of my shoulders and made for an unflattering neckline. They also slipped off quite frequently. Love the weight and print though

Beautiful skirt!
I rented this for every day and ended up wearing it for engagement photos. While the sizing runs slightly small, it is well made and comfortable. The fabric feels heavy to the touch but not heavy on. I received numerous compliments and it photographed wonderfully. One of my favorite rentals!

The dress is heavier than I envisioned. It was tight in the bust but very baggy on bottom. There was no tie for the waist as described which would have helped. Love this brand but this was a miss for me.

Gorgeous bodice but need to be tall!
I love the fit of the bodice and the pattern but it's cut for someone taller. If you are 5'4" or under, you will most likely have extra room with the sleeves (making them difficult to keep in place) and extra fabric around the waist. If you try to pull it down, there is too much showing around the arm holes but if you pull it up, the sleeves flop over. Such a shame because it is very flattering otherwise!

Great everyday coat!
This coat is wonderful for day or night, and great for layering! It runs slightly oversized and I do wish the sleeves were a little shorter but they can be cuffed. However, the extra space allows for sweaters, scarves, etc. to be worn underneath without issue.

The dress was gorgeous fit wonderfully at the waist but the straps were just way too long for my height and thus created a gaping effect around the bust. If you are shorter than 5'5" and on the fence about whether to rent, pass on this one!

As is the case with all Solani, this dress ran small. I knew this in advance so it wasn't an issue but the hook on my rental was bent so I had a hard time keeping the bust closed. Other than that I loved the slits and fabric.

Very versatile!
Rented this for a trip to Maine and ended up wearing it to dinner but it easily could have been a great daytime dress. I decided to tie the sleeves in the back but it can be worn either way. Loose fitting but adjustable in the waist. I got the 8 but the 6 would have worked too

Very flattering!
I wore this to a work even Where I needed to keep it conservative. It fit beautifully and was very easy to move in. I even wore it with a jacket to work the following week. I am 5'3" and it hit me right past the ankles with heels.

This was the perfect summer party dress!
I wore this to an awards ceremony where I needed to be pretty conservative but not die of a heat stroke. The look was perfect! The length was great too. Being 5'3" I usually have issues with maxis was this was just right. My one complaint would be about the attached slip that lines the dress. It is made of a much cheaper, scratchier material and thus rides up quite a bit and does not move as well with the dress as it should. If you are going to be pretty stationary this shouldn't be an issue but I did a lot of sitting-standing-sitting again so I ended up pulling it down throughout the night.

Well made, great color!
I loved this dress! I sized up specifically for the bust area and I'm glad I did. While it is adjustable, the fabric does not have any stretch or give so you don't want to tie it too tight and risk being uncomfortable. Overall I have no other complaints except maybe the fact that is wrinkles easily. I did a lot of sitting up and down so it became pretty wrinkled
