Size down - also it’s polyester
Cute top in theory. Rent 1-2 sizes down unless you want an oversized look. This shirt looks like it’s cotton but it’s 100% polyester. Not very breathable!

This dress is a very classic black dress but there’s nothing special about it. On a petite frame, it did look fairly matronly. Would advise for women 5’3+ so it would fit like a more flattering midi.

A smidge too big
I run between a 6/8 (about a 28 inch waist) and found this to be a smidge too big in many places for my petite frame. I probably could’ve sized down and it would’ve fit better. The waist drawstring wouldn’t stay taught so I was readjusting it frequently throughout the day. Otherwise felt it was very comfortable (though on the more sheer side).

Pretty disappointed that these didn’t fit across my waist. They say they fit like a 4/6 but it’s really much closer to a 4. The leg was loose (straight slim) but the waist was far too small and I couldn’t even close them. Pretty disappointing. I find maje clothes (on average) run on the smaller side.

I had such high hopes for this but it’s an absolute no from me dawg. Not sure why rtr keeps having clothes available for rent literally 2-3 sizes smaller than a standard size. I’m a TTS 6 and I rented the 8 and could not zipper this. I would love to rent it again but maybe in a 10/12.

Barbiecore perfection
Loved this! I got an infinite amount of compliments (more so from men than women) but in any case I was living my best Barbie life. This fits like a dream and is super stretchy. Only advise is the zipper (at least on the one I was sent) was a bit sticky. The medium almost fit closer to a small (maybe bc it’s likely been dry cleaned so many times) so I’d almost recommend sizing up. The length is PERFECT for a petite (so probably not advised for tall queens).

Was not a big fan of this one at all. I knew it was a risk as it traditionally is not my personal style. The dress was just very conservative and matronly. I’d also advise that I have not the largest bust size but the dress was gapping across my chest so the buttons didn’t lay flat. Overall was a waste of a rental space as it remained unworn. Would only recommend if you’re into that cottagecore vibe.

Super cute - but short
Read the reviews beforehand and figured this would be solid for a petite (which it was). Still probably on the shorter side for work but the proportions fit very well and it was true to size! Great outfit for work or vacation.

Loved this jacket! So cute with high rise pants(either dress pants for work or jeans). I know it comes with a matching dress but I didn’t try it. Ordered a size up so it was a bit looser and longer and it fit perfectly. Tweed fabric might be a bit too warm for hot days though.

Loved this top! Wore it on about a 65 degree day. Really good for transition weather. Super soft and comfy. Wore a medium but the knit is stretchy so likely could’ve gotten away with a small. Cute rental!

Petite girls - rent this!
Ok - so after reading the reviews I decided to give this a shot. I’m on the petite side so figured the length wouldn’t be much of an issue. It is definitely on the shorter side and wouldn’t advise it for anyone over 5’3. It runs small so I rented the largest size but overall it’s really cute for a night out/vacation. Would recommend!

Not for the curvy!
Wanted to love these pants. That said - they didn’t fit at ALL. I have about a 28 ish inch waist. Rented these in a 6 thinking they’d be stretchy on the waist. They’re cut really small in the waist and through the thighs. Looked really weird and unflattering. The fabric is also not breathable at ALL. Ended up wasting a space for another rental :/

Very basic - borderline boring
Not lots to say here - it’s a black and white sweater. Nice knit for between winter and spring. Horizontal lines are not the most flattering so can make you look wider. Overall, it’s very boring (gives librarian vibes - no offense to librarians). Definitely not a must rent. If for some reason you need a conservative sweater though, this fits the bill.

This top was really cute for a night out! Not a wild standout so that’s why I’m giving it four stars. Fits true to size but their is a zipper along the side. Top straps are adjustable which is helpful for that off the shoulder look. High quality fabric as well!

A miss….
I loved the idea of this dress and thought it would be great for work! Problem is for a petite, the asymmetrical skirt pools and you kind of look like a mermaid caught in a fishing net. It awkwardly drags on the floor and the proportions are off. Wanted to love this! It just didn’t love me back.

Endless compliments!
This was an adorable number to wear to work. The torso is quite long so petites - you’ve been warned. But that said you can cinch it (to the best of your ability) inside the jumpsuit. Length in the length was reasonable and the denim was soft with a fair amount of stretch. If I wanted to wear again, I’d likely rent a size down from my normal size (medium). For the record I have a 28 ish inch waist!

If you’re looking for an ultra conservative dress - this fits the bill. The print is adorable but as a petite - this swallowed me. It looked very matronly so I opted for something in my own closet instead of this rental for an event. Probably best for those 5’5 and above.

One of my favorite gowns I’ve ever rented on rtr. This dress is a dream! Very flattering and comfortable. Length was long for a petite but I made it work with 4.5 inch heels. Absolutely stunning. Form fitting but not tight. Runs true to size. Rent this!

This dress is everything you’d imagine it to be. It’s great for fall/winter because it’s thick ribbed sweater fabric. You really can’t wear much underneath other than an extremely thin nude thong. One star off because the dress is VERY long and as someone petite it’ felt like I was in a bit of a sausage casing. The dress runs true to size - larger. Rented my actual size (medium) but probably could’ve sized down to a small for a better, more slim fit.

This dress is not as short as it is on the model (at least on a petite frame). The dress is semi sheer so I wore black tights and a nude bodysuit underneath. I actually ended up wearing this to a work event with knee high boots and got lots of compliments.

This dress is VERY long. I’ve rented a few gowns from rtr and never had an issue. The torso on the gown is quite long and in order to fit would need about 2-3 inches taken from the top shoulder. The length is super long even in 4-5 inch heels. I felt like I was swimming in it. Very unwearable.

Too Tight in the Chest
I’m very familiar with the kooples brand and everything I’ve worn has been in their size 2 (about a medium). This shirt runs smaaaaaall. I couldn’t even cross my arms over my chest wearing this blouse. It’s a very low v as well (for work at least). Would recommend for a C chest or smaller.

Very cute - but Runs oversized!
This blazer is super cute and on trend. The fabric is heavier than a standard blazer and could be worn as outerwear. Buyer beware - it runs VERY oversized. Read the reviews before renting and went down two sizes and it looked really adorable on.

Smushes your chest
Really wanted to love this rental given the general high reviews but had a few issues with it. 1. The sleeves are pretty long (came past my knuckles) and had equally as long zippers 2. Top was practically impossible to put on by myself due to the really long zipper down the back. 3. For someone with a moderate chest size, it made me look extremely flat chested. The print is really pretty but overall, I couldn’t wait to get out of this thing.

This top is NOT recommended for anyone with over a B cup. I rented a size 6 (my typical size) and it fit like a two. I couldn’t get it over my chest nor zipper it down the side. To be honest, it was so small it seemed mislabeled. It would have gotten one star but the pattern is absolutely adorable and I wish I could have worn it. Should I choose to rent it again, I would probably have to get a 10.

Absolutely love these work pants. Super professional with a beautiful pattern. Found they ran true to size. They are a heavier weight so they're ideal for cooler temperatures, up to an early spring where it's still breezy. Would not recommend for summer wearing.

Can't Stop Won't Stop Wearing This
I absolutely LOVE this dress. It's fantastic for work and casual day to day. The dress is super comfortable and fits really well. I can wear it all day at work without any discomfort. It is true that the dress has some "metallic" threads so it's on the more "sparkly" or "dressy" side if you will. I wish RTR had this dress in other colors (staud sells about a dozen combos) because I would continue to rent them!

I needed a more conservative dress for an engagement party. At the time, the longer dresses available didn't interest me and the shorter dresses weren't appropriate. I decided to take a chance on this dress which I was nervous would look too long. I rented the small and medium both of which fit. Chose the medium because it was a bit longer and more formal. This is such a great dress. It's a bit sexy with the sheer bottom and cowl neck but also extremely comfy. Easy to dress up or down!
