I rented this dress for my graduation. I knew that it was mostly going to be covered by my graduation robes, and I ended up being a little bit happy about that as this dress was very difficult to sit in. It is beautiful, but it has no give or stretch to the fabric. Standing was tight but doable, but sitting was uncomfortable. I have an hourglass body shape, and my bottom half is usually a size larger than my top half, which ended up being too big of a difference for this dress to fit comfortably (which is why I usually avoid sheath-style dresses and go for A-lines or fit and flares). But the material was too pretty to not try. The 14 was perfect for my top half though.

I am basically two different sizes. My pants size has always run larger than any top size, so that's not a problem when it comes to pants and tops, but makes dresses a struggle. Since I wear a size 14 in pants, I usually fit my dresses to that, and unsurprisingly, the top on this dress ended up being big. The waist fit great though. The straps kept moving and crossing higher than intended, so a few well-placed safety pins fixed that sizing issue right away, and it looked great the rest of the evening. I got tons of compliments on this dress at my sister-in-law's wedding. It was comfortable the whole evening, and I didn't have to wear a bra because the material was thick/structured enough to make that unnecessary. I would definitely recommend this dress!
