I am on the petite size (5'1") and didn't look at the length of these pants before I ordered. Luckily the bottom of the pants can be easily folded in and they will stay folded as you go about your day - so they can work for shorter women! The material is not very soft, has a very "polyester" feel to it which I wasn't crazy about, but the fit and style are great. Note: I read one other review that mentioned a split in the seam of the pants. This also happened to me on the left size inner thigh area. I was able to do a quick fix to avoid it from getting worse but just be aware that these seem to easily tear in the seam.

I rented this as one of my first rentals and didn't know what to expect. I got the size recommended for me and while it fit well in the hip and waist area, it was a little too loose in the chest, and a little too low cut. It probably also depends on how comfortable you are showing cleavage - I don't have much so I don't usually wear very low cut tops hehe. Overall it's a really cute dress and loved the material, maybe order down a size if you are smaller on top.
