Really great dress. Color is true to picture - rich purple and black. Looked great with black accessories. The pockets were amazing - large enough that I could stick my clutch in them during the cocktail hour. The back was a really nice touch that elevated the dress. Definitely think the dress is on the larger size - so order your size and one down. I wore the backup smaller size.

Wore this for my rehearsal dinner. It was a last minute call so only the 4 was left and so I'm quite glad it runs true to size and wasn't a tent on me. The waist is fitted, so be aware of that. Unlike other Kate spade dresses I've tried on, this one has some room in the bust which is lovely. Plus pockets! The fabric wrinkles very easily. So be prepared to iron before your event. I ironed mine twice.

The dress is lovely for a dressy casual night. Very full skirt & pockets (!). My issue was the bodice fit. I am far from large chested and not particularly conservative when it comes to skin, but the fit is tight and low. It made me fee very exposed all night. Also there seems to be too much dress in the back. As if for a hunchback. All in I felt like the dress belonged in baroque England - very Shakespeare in Love.

One of the original sizes I rented was unable to be sent out. After working with Alex in customer support, we came to sending this dress as the back up. It was a lovely dress, but just not right for me and the event. Some notes: The flowers are purple. I read them as navy/dark blue online. Perhaps it is just my computer. The skirt is very full. The seam between the shirt and bodice is external - so there is a visible ridge. Very 50's housewife, but not for everyone. The dress is very metallic - so I would call this an ideal dress if you want to stand out. Waist might be a little tight. the 40 fit fine, but would have been snug after eating dinner. I would recommending ordering true and 1 size up.

My parents threw an engagement party for my new fiancé and I, so I new I needed something special. After much hinting, I had a hunch it would be this dress. In person it is stunning. The fabric is partially metallic and the blue is so rich without being too dark. I accessorized with navy, but honestly black would have worked too. As for the size - I had no choice but to go with the 4. I was informed right before the 2 was not in good enough shape to be sent out. The 4 was a little loose in the torso, but not to a point of the dress being silly. The skirt is flared, so the bottom is not an issue. I am somewhat small in the upper chest, so I think this would work well for busty women as well.

Really lovely dress. Wore it for dinner and drinks celebrating my birthday. It was the right mix of casual and fancy, and I feel like it can be dressed up and down. Ordered sizes up based on reviews and some leftover holiday weight. Went with the 4 in the end, so glad I did that. Only the sleeves run small in my option, I have athletic arms and zipping up was quite the adventure since the sleeves are tighter than they seem. Chest seems a bit fuller and the hips & waist fit normal. It is short, but I was going to wear tights anyways.

Got these as the mystery bling. These are very pretty earrings, but I normally wear larger earrings and french hooks. These are neither. Ultimately these were just too fancy for the event, so went unworn. Dress is bright, but not in a garish way. Works great as a daytime dress, I wore it to a graduation. Looks great with gold accessories and shoes. I found it just as short on me (5'3") as it was on the model despite what other comments said, so be prepared to show leg. The dress is fully lined, so you do not need a slip. Fit is wide in the waist and narrow in the chest. Rented both a 0 and 2, the 0 fit better in the waist and was about the same in the hips, but completely crushed my chest. The 2 was just not as fitted, which was fine in the long run.
