Given that the front of this dress is slightly shorter than the back, I ordered it in both a 2R and 2L, with the expectation being that the 2L would fit best. I am 5',9'', 130 lbs, size 2-4, and the 2L fit like a gem. The length was perfect when wearing 3-4 inch heels. I received a ton of compliments, and the best part was that I did not have to fidget with the dress a single time the entire night. I highly recommend renting this dress!

I am 5'9, size 2/4, 130 pounds, and the dress fit like a gem. The length was long enough to where the dress felt conservative, even with the backless aspect. I am a huge fan of this dress and would reccomend it in particular for summer weddings. The material has a bit of weight to it but is still fine to wear throughout the summer. Overall, the best fit of any RTR dress I have worn so far!

This dress was my first choice for an inaugural ball event. I tried the dress on with 4 inch heels and found that the 2L was far too long for me to wear to the event. Even with my height (5'9'') and the heels, it was 3-4 inches too long. The dress fit perfectly up top but dragged on the ground. In retrospect, since it does fit true to size, I would recommend ordering the dress in both regular and long if you are borderline between the two recommended dress lengths.

When this Nicole Miller necklace arrived with my dress (the Nicole Miller Keyhole Goddess gown), one of the stones had fallen off the necklace during shipping. When I called RTR about the issue, they were extremely helpful. They said that I was allowed to temporarily fasten the stone back on the necklace, and they also reassured me that if one of the stones fell of during the court of the event, I would not be liable for the necklace. For this reason alone, I swear by Rent the Runway's customer service! The necklace lay beautifully and was absolutely perfect for the event!

I am 5'9, and with 4 inch heels the dress was exactly the right length. Had I been any shorter or worn a lower pair of heels, however, it would have been too long. This dress was absolutely perfect for the occasion - though it is a light pink, the color is neutral enough that it can be worn year round. Above all, the best part about the dress is that it fit snugly up top - I did not have to pull the dress up once! It comes with support built in, but I wore a strapless bra with the dress as well (I am a C cup). I paired it with the Kate Spade Crystal Chapel Cluster Necklace (also rented from RTR).

I rented both a two and a four (I typically wear a four in dresses), and I ended up wearing the two. The four was huge on me around the bust and waist area. I would definitely recommend ordering a size down.
