I’m 5’2” and wear a 10 or 12. The 10R was slightly loose and a 10P would have probably fit better if it had been available. Wore it to my work holiday party and it was comfortable and warm enough so I didn’t need a wrap in the drafty banquet room. The slit on the left leg was high enough to be sexy but not inappropriate for a work event. Totally dug the keyhole neck and didn’t have to worry about revealing too much. Felt comfortable and beautiful all night.

This was my second choice. It fit well but the slit is VERY high and I was going to a work event so I didn't wear it. The ruching on the sleeves is very dramatic and I thought it looked better with shoulder pads. The shorter length worked well as it was floor length for me.

The color is rich and beautiful. I accessorized with a gold and pearl necklace and a pair of red patent pumps. Sorry - no photos. The fabric isn't as nice as I expected - doesn't breathe or stretch. The sleeves are tight (and long on me) but I expected this based on other reviews. I'm hourglass/pear shaped so I wasn't surprised when the shoulders were a bit roomy. The fishtail hem was fun and I felt good overall wearing this dress. Received plenty of compliments.

This was a substitute. The dress I ordered was returned damaged but I was very happy with the alternate RTR selected for me. The color is a rich beautiful almost peacock blue. The fabric is good quality, not too heavy but not flimsy at all. It didn't hold wrinkles and fell beautifully. I wasn't really thrilled with the darts on the top as they didn't hit perfectly and I'm only 5'2" so it dragged on the ground even with 3" heels. The overlay top is very flattering and hid the rigging with safety pins and alligator clips so I didn't step on the hem. The a-line skirt was perfect for me as I didn't want anything that hugged my bottom. This dress was perfect for a high-brow wedding at a swanky hotel.

I normally wear an 8 or 10 so I rented the 8R and 10R. Oddly enough, the 10 was tighter in the hips but too long so I wore the 8R. It was a bit snug and there is no give in the fabric. The dresses arrived quite wrinkled so I spent about 45 minutes pressing it gradually increasing the iron temp so I didn't scorch the chiffon. The ruffle down the front moved beautifully when I walked and the rushing at the midriff was very flattering. I wore a nubra that worked fine - it's far too low in the back to wear anything else. I could have gone without if I had really wanted to. Ladies with a more amble bosom would be comfortable. You'll need help with the side zipper. Perfect Mother of the Bride dress!!

Large but not heavy and high quality. The gentle green color in the photo is accurate. I loved the crystals in the delicate setting around the stones. I wore them all day with no issue at all. I wish I could have kept these earrings. Wore them for my daughter's wedding because I wanted an elegant statement and the added bonus for me is that they matched a family heirloom ring perfectly!

The fabric has a little stretch to it so it's a bit forgiving. Perfect for a warm evening. This dress would work for girls with a more ample bosom as I had a little extra room on top, but the dress was not baggy at all. It hugged my curves in a flattering way. The length was great, I'm 5'2" and it hit just above the knee for me. Received MANY compliments on my dress. I tried on this dress in Nordstrom after I had already rented it online and was very pleased so I knew what to expect. In the future, I will try the dress on at a department store first if possible.
