Chic & comfy
Wore this to Valentine’s Day dinner and felt SO chic. Rented a 6 and an 8 and wore my usual 6. The fabric has quite a bit of stretch, so it was really comfy. The ruching is super flattering, but the fabric is in on the thinner side, so it shows a few bumps and curves. I didn’t mind, though—I felt beautiful in it!

Soo chic and sexy!
This was just as fabulous as the other reviews said—the perfect blazer romper! I am a pretty standard size 4/6, and the medium was perfect. It is definitely short, but I wore some sheer hose, and it didn’t feel too short. The shoulder pads and cut of the piece created a great hourglass shape. Perfect for our V-day date!

I can't recommend this dress enough! I was nervous about fit based on the reviews that said it ran large in the bust since I'm smaller busted, but the dress fit like a glove! Amazing quality, and the fabric has a gorgeous texture. I felt like a vintage starlet in it!

I rented this dress for NYE, and I felt drop dead gorgeous! I agree with other reviewers that it runs small; I am between a size 4-6 and I ended up wearing the 6. The top part is VERY open and VERY small. I am a small 32B, and even I felt like the coverage was minimal. I secured everything with fashion tape to make sure everything stayed in place on the dance floor :) The fabric has a luxurious weight to it and a little stretch—no Spanx needed! I honestly have never felt more glamorous and powerful than in this dress!

Glamorous bridesmaid dress!
I wore this for my friend's wedding, where she let us choose our own bridesmaid gown as long as it was dark green. I felt so chic and glamorous in this gown! I am 5'7 and wore 3" heels, and the Long length was perfect for me. I read that some other reviewers mentioned side boob action, and I totally get it. I'm smaller busted, so it wasn't an issue for me, but larger busted ladies watch out for this. I had to wear a sticky backless bra and still had to use fashion tape to keep the side tabs of my bra covered. The fabric is nice and thick, and it has some stretch to it, so it allowed me to size down.

A standout dress!
I got so many compliments on this dress! My mom even told me that if RTR ever sells this dress, I must buy it! It is more of a yellow-green in person, and the neckline is super flattering. I got the 6R and 4R and ended up wearing the 4R (both fit well, but the 4R hugged my figure a bit more). I wish I had gotten the 4L, though--ladies, if you're 5'6 or taller and want to wear heels, go with the long length. I had to wear flats with mine. The dress itself is gorgeous and such great quality, and I rented the Kenneth Jay Lane Crystallized Aqua Drops for an extra wow factor! If you're considering this dress, GO FOR IT! The photos make it look nice, but in person it is perfection!

Totally worth it!
I highly recommend all RTR'ers to upgrade to PRO! It saves me about $15 per order (shipping & insurance), so if you foresee yourself renting more than two dresses a year, it pays for itself! Having PRO encourages me to rent more often than I would without it, so that's another plus. It's almost always cheaper for me to rent from RTR than to buy a new dress for an event--and in that case, the dress is designer! The absolute BEST part of being PRO is the $50 birthday credit you get every year... it doesn't have to be used during your birthday month (just once every 365 days), so you can save it for a big event you have several months away. I always use my $50 credit to put towards a rental that would normally be too expensive for me. It's such a treat! :)

I felt so ladylike!
This dress is perfect for when you want to stand out, but in a classic, feminine way. Despite the low front and low back, I was able to wear a normal bra with it. However, there isn't much room in the chest--I'm an A cup, and I feel like larger-chested gals may find there isn't enough coverage. The waist is thick and slimming without a lot of stretch, so size according to this measurement! :) Overall, the floral print and voluminous skirt is just so lovely. I wore this to an early summer wedding and felt like Audrey Hepburn (despite the rain!)

A real WOW piece!
My sister and I took advantage of RTR's "Rent 1, Get Two Free" Thanksgiving promotion and rented three beautiful items that we got to have fun wearing around for a few days. I wore this necklace to work early in the week, and in this photo she is wearing it on Thanksgiving. I've seen a lot of imitation bib necklaces around, but this one is a true quality piece. It looks SO much better in person, and the various colored jewels make it very versatile to go with a lot of pieces. If you're looking for the "wow" factor, this necklace is it!

A knockout necklace!
This Kate Spade necklace is stunning--the way the bright, blue-green jewels glimmer is so feminine and elegant. The necklace hangs very beautifully, and I love how the design continues all the way to the clasp in the back (would look great with an updo!) I wish I could have kept this one!

Great Thanksgiving look!
I ordered this top to wear on Thanksgiving as part of Rent the Runway's "Rent 1, get 2 free" rental promotion. I'm pretty straight and narrow in the torso, so I loved how the wrap cinched in my waist for a very flattering look. On me, the top was too low-cut and gaping, but wearing a tank underneath fixed it (gals with larger busts may not run into this issue.) The top is very true to size, and the wrap detail make is very versatile, so it's a pretty safe item to rent. I'm wearing it here with a Kate Spade necklace I also rented from RTR!

A statement dress for the girly girl!
I wore this dress to a late afternoon/evening November wedding. In person, it looks just like how it does on the model online. The material has a good, quality feel to it, and the metallic shine is beautiful--the high/low hem with the gold peeking out underneath is my favorite detail! I ordered the 4 and the 6 and ended up wearing the 6; the fabric has essentially no stretch to it (especially in the bodice/bust area), so keep that in mind when sizing. The dress nips in at the waist with black waistband detail, and that combined with the fuller skirt makes for a super flattering shape. I felt very ladylike, fashion forward, and festive all evening!

Such a classic look!
I felt like Grace Kelly in this dress--it fit like a glove, and the silhouette of it is just so flattering for highlighting your waist. My favorite part is the full skirt; like a few other reviewers said, it has a layer of haro in the hem, which gives it a bit of flounce (perfect for dancing!). The material is high-quality, woven with a slight sheen, so I would recommend this dress only for evening events. Be aware that this fabric has no stretch. I wore my normal size 6, which was perfect, but I did notice that there wasn't much breathing room in the chest area--FYI I'm a 34A bust. If you're larger-chested, I'd recommend going a size up for your back-up size. My photo doesn't show full body, but the dress hit right at my knees (I'm 5'7). Very classy length. I wore it with nude Jessica Simpson heels and my own gold snake-chain necklace from Express.

I had a major a Marilyn Monroe moment!
This was my first experience with RTR, and it wow, couldn't have been better! I wore this gown to my sorority formal and felt absolutely stunning in it! After reading the reviews for this same gown in black and talking with a RTR stylist, I opted for the 6R and 4R. This dress does run long--I'm 5'7 and wore 3" heels and the regular length was pretty close to perfect. I would have preferred it to be maybe 1/2-1" longer, but because it has a slight train, I didn't mind too much (not to mention it was better for dancing!). I tried on the 6R first, assuming since I always wear size 6 that it would be perfect, but since I got a second size for free, I decided to try on the 4 for kicks. While the size 6 fit nicely, the size 4 took the dress from pretty to va-va-voom! It hugged my curves the way it does on the model and fit much better in the bust area. This silhouette is so sexy and flattering, and the peplum really emphasizes an hourglass figure. Oh, and the fabric has a great weight to it and even a little stretch, so it's less constricting than it looks! Overall, I was in L-O-V-E with this gown and I felt so glamorous in it! Order a size down and be prepared to make some jaws drop!
