Wore this dress as I hosted my sister's bridal shower. It was an 'en blanc' theme and this dress was just perfect. I usually wear size 5/6/M but in this dress I wore the L. The medium certainly fit fine but the L had a bit more give and a bit more length. If I was at a club I would've went with the M but for the bridal shower the L was the way to go. Super comfortable and a bit stretchy. IMO you can't wear a bra. Instead, I wore a bodysuit with a low back. Kept me up in the front while still having a bare back. While the bride still stole the show, I received compliments on the dress all day. Loved it and would certainly rent again!!!

I've seen this fab Alexis dress for sale on other websites and had my eye on it for a while. Figured I'd rent it to see how it fit before I'd possibly buy it. I'm 5'1" and was nervous about the length. Obviously came below the knee but still looked super flattering with a pair of heels. Bottom line, I was obsessed with it and got so so so many compliments at my cousin's rehearsal dinner in December. It doesn't show your mid-section as much as the model photo shows. I'm usually a M-L and this dress I definitely had to wear the L given the little stretch and larger bust. I had to wear clear sticky over the shoulder bra cups for support. Depending on your bust you could go without. I'd highly recommend renting this dress. I bought it!

Dress fit true to size, perfect length, with 3-4in heels. I didn't end up wearing, only bc this was my backup and my first choice fit perfectly. My first choice gave me better curves. This one doesn't really cinch in the waist as much and made me look a little boxy/large in the midsection. Fab color and flow though!! Love RTR!

This dress is SUPER cute with a flattering fit & sturdy material. (hides imperfections perfectly) The colors are gorgeous. However, I'm only 5'1, and it was just too short. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love a short dress every now and again, but this was for a wedding and maybe I should've sized up to an 8 from my usual 6 to get the additional length I needed so I wouldn't be pulling it down all night. Nobody wants to see upper thigh as you are busting a move on the dance floor. Luckily it was my back up and my other dress fit just right. Love RTR - can't wait to rent again!!

Wore this dress to a black-tie optional, evening, May wedding. After reading all the other reviews I knew this dress was THE ONE! It did NOT disappoint, got compliments all night and looks amazing in photos. I only got the dress in the 6R since a back up size wasn't available. It fit like a glove. Like the other reviews say, the cut is very low in the front and the girls will be on display. However, not in a trashy way. There is a button close around the neck so it pulls and tightens, essentially keeping everything in and up. I danced all night with no problems. I didn't need to wear a bra, but you can wear a regular bra with it. Loved the cap sleeves to hide a bit of that upper arm insecurity. LOL! I'm only 5'1", the regular was perfect length and I wore 4in heels. For the color - both gold and silver work with this dress. The sequins are silver and the beading is a gold color. So either or. And finally, as a mom of 21 m/o twins I loved how it cinched in the waist and fell perfectly over the belly, hips and legs. Fits true to size and super comfortable with a little stretchy give. Now for a minor complaint - I received the dress with a bit of the slit hem in the back coming apart. I didn't notice until I was walking out the door so my cousin (in the gorgeous gold RTR dress) pinned it for me. Couldn't tell at all. Since this dress is SO popular and works great on all shapes and sizes, the gals at RTR need to check all the hems to make sure everything is in good condition before sending out. All in all, highly recommend!!!
