This dress fit perfectly and was incredibly flattering. I danced all night at a wedding and it was comfortable and totally easy to move around in. As a shorter person, I'm always nervous to wear long dresses, but the petite was the absolute perfect length with 3.5-inch heels. Make sure you have a sewing kit handy, as a couple of the hooks in the back arrived looking very precariously attached.

This dress is just gorgeous. It was so incredibly comfortable and flattering, I was very upset when I looked down and saw that there was zero chance I was going to be able to walk in it, even with 4-inch heels. It was just SO long. If I had a huge amount of hem tape I might have been able to make it work, but I was at an out-of-town wedding and hadn't prepared for that. I ended up wearing a different dress.

I wore this dress for a wedding at a mid-mountain ski lodge, where the temperature was obviously a factor. It turned out to be a really great choice, the neoprene kept me relatively warm. It was also a very forgiving fabric, given that I was also trying to hide the fact that I was 8 weeks pregnant and starting to get a bit of baby bloat. I definitely got a lot of compliments on it, it's totally a standout dress! The only downside I would say for girls of my height is that the length is definitely not petite. The hem fell just a few inches above my knees and made my legs look like they disappeared when I put opaque black tights underneath. I ended up skipping the tights and going bare-legged, which was not ideal for the temperatures, but looked much better.

This by far is the most beautiful dress I have rented from RTR. However, beauty is not without it's pains. It's not really meant for a petite girl, as the cap sleeves were constantly slipping off my shoulders and it's a bit longer than it should be, which makes it difficult to take regular size steps and get crazy on the dance floor. I would recommend using fashion tape and/or using the ribbon tie in the back to hold the sleeves together (I didn't, since it's not done up like that on the model, but a friend rented this dress for another event and she tied it). Would definitely recommend renting.

I wore this to a black tie wedding in Palm Springs in December. It was a total knockout dress and received compliments on it all night long. There were a couple of downsides to it though. I'm 5'1.5" and even with 5" heels, this dress was too long for me. I taped it up with fashion tape (just happened to get a few strips with my order), which helped but it had pretty much all fallen down by the time the reception started. The other minor thing is that the V in the back is just a tiiiiiiny bit too low for a regular bra. It was also not the easiest thing to walk in if you need to get somewhere really quickly, as the bottom was a bit tight down to your knees. I think overall, all of these issues would totally have not existed for me if it were a petite size!

Wore this dress for a black tie wedding and everything about it was perfect. I got compliments on it all night and of course the question of WHERE did you get that dress?! I rented a 0 in both regular and petite lengths and I have to say, I held them up together and couldn't not notice a difference in the lengths. Also, neither dress said "petite" anywhere on the tag, so I can't even say whether I actually wore a petite size. I'm actually about 5'1.5" and wore 5" heels with this dress and it was perfectly grazing the floor. It was also super comfortable and I was able to dance all night (note that this picture was taken at the end of the night and my hair is falling down from dancing so hard).

I wore this dress to a formal wedding and it looked so beautiful. I got compliments on it all night! The only thing I would caution for girls on the shorter size is the length. I am 5'1.5", so I was really worried about a long dress. I ordered early enough that I was able to get a petite size, but I'm not 100% sure that what actually arrived was a petite. The tag said 0 (not 0P) and it was just a teeny tiny bit longer than I would have liked, even wearing 5 inch heels. It wasn't long enough that I felt like I needed to tape it, but it did get in the way a few times in the evening. Other than that, it was so very elegant and such a great color!

I wore this to my 30th birthday party that we threw at our house and it was great for a little more casual of an affair. The only thing I would complain about with this dress is that it's so tight, it feels REALLY dicey getting it on. The zipper is not placed well and I had to do a lot of shimmying to get into it. I was a little bit worried that it wasn't going to fit or get on at all. Tip: put your deodorant on AFTER getting into this dress. Once it was on, it looked gorgeous! I even had a friend ask if she could borrow it, so of course I just pointed her to RTR!
