I have a short torso and had to raise the straps pretty high to make sure the pleat would hit at the right spot. I love the colors but the execution on this dress didn't work for me.

The fabric is tight in the way that smoothes out rolls and wrinkles -- which is good news is you're looking for a top that acts like SPANX. I didn't have an occasion for this one so I didn't end up wearing it. Beautifully made but size up.

The buttons have supporting snaps to help things stay out, but they wouldn't stay closed it was so tight. I wear an 8 and got a 10, will try the 12. Pattern and fabric is beautiful linen -- bummed it didn't work out.
