This dress was sportier than I expected. Especially the fabric and the cut on top. It felt like a synthetic Razorback style yoga top. The plus to that was that I didn't need a bra. On the flip side, I loved the bottom hem, it flowed and moved beautifully and was interesting, feminine and more upscale. I have a very long torso so the butt sat too high on my low back and wasn't flattering for me. Bunched up where it should have hugged. Probably wouldn't be a problem for most women. But it wasn't forgiving, if your curves didn't fit where the dress was cut, that was it...no stretchy give. I didn't end up wearing for the event I wanted cause of these reasons. I was sad that I didn't love this one.

I couldn't decide if I loved or disliked this dress. It was sparkly and fun and flowy, and it was comfortable to wear except that it was ITCHY. I wore it for a big Thanksgiving party which was great cause the high waist tie covered the belly well for lots of eating opportunity! I think it runs pretty big/long because I usually wear 2-4 Long in dresses and ordered a 0R (all that was available) in this dress and it was still a bit baggy on the chest and crazy long even for a 5' 9.5" lady like me! I was sweeping the floors all night in this. I have a thin upper body and slender arms and felt like the fabric was a bit too much for my body type and I was drowning in it. Probably would look amazing in full chested women. The slit was also much higher than expected but because there is so much overlapping fabric, I was able to keep it closed for the family friendly event. My husband wanted me to buy the dress but in the end something about it didn't felt good and I sent it back right after the event.

I really liked this dress. It was well-made, thick and slightly tight (especially on the arms and elbows) but felt cozy and warm for a chilly night date. I'm pear shaped and usually wear 0-4 on top and 6-8 on bottom. I ordered the XS and it fit nicely in my chest (didn't need a bra) and felt comfortable on my hips too. The material was nicer and stretchier than I expected and I liked the shoulder detailing. The only con was that the tightness in the arms made me unable to zip it up myself so I needed my husband's help each time. If you have big arm muscles, consider sizing up. The leg opening is also a bit small so while walking around SF, I felt like I was found a TheraBand leg exercise all night.
