This is a really cool dress that is very flattering but be warned that there is no give and the waist is for a small waist. If I ate a big dinner I would not be able to fit it! I did find the cut flattering though and many people liked the dress. I'm 5'3" and wore it with 3" heels and it fell just above my ankles.

I wore this to an Emmy party and it was perfect in a sea of darker colors. I am 5'3" and it was a little long on me. I wore 3" heels and the back nearly hit the floor. But the rest fit well and was very comfortable. I highly recommend it!

This is the perfect dress. It accentuates the right places and hides the places that need a little hiding like a tummy! It's very comfortable in the winter. But I think it would be too hot in the summer even at night due to the material. I had to use some wardrobe tape to tape the chest area, and that worked . . . until it didn't. So I would keep extra tape on hand! For reference, I am 5'3" and 115 lbs and wore an XS and it was perfect.

I loved this fitted dress but beware that it runs small. I usually wear a size 2 at 5'3" 111 lbs. but I couldn't even zip up the size 2. The size 4 fit perfectly except that it was a little long. It was fine but would have looked better on me if it were a few inches shorter. The fabric is nice and thick and holds you in. You don't have to wear spanx if you don't want to. It is forgiving of any flaws. My only complaint is that the sleeves tend to fall down a bit. It's probably different on every person depending on how big your shoulders are. Some people mentioned that it's hard to walk in this dress but I didn't find that to be a problem. You can't reach up very far due to the sleeves but I didn't find it too confining. Overall, it's a beautiful fitted dress and very slimming!

I ordered an XS and S and ended up wearing the S because the XS felt a little tight. I am 5'3 and the dress was slightly too long on me and the sleeves were also a little long. Neither were big problems. Overall, the dress fit very well and hid a lot of flaws. It is stretchy so I think it would fit different body types. It was very comfortable to wear. I just had to pull it down every so often because it started to bunch up at the waist. I like that the dress has a spanx type slip that comes with it. However, the nude colored slip has white straps which show through the black lace dress. It would have been much better if the straps were also nude so you couldn't see them through the dress! Overall, I was very happy with the dress and the ease of using Rent the Runway. I will definitely be renting from them again. Also, I urge everyone to write reviews because the reviews are what helped me find the right dress!
