The fabric is (slightly) weighty with stretch, so you can wear regular undergarments, move around easily, and eat your entire wedding dinner without a worry! I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding on Long Island in August, and I loved it. I am between two sizes and wore the smaller size, and the hem hit me just below mid-thigh. Thanks to the boning, there was enough structure where you could wear this without a bra. The design and fabric are also very forgiving if you happen to have a big dinner.
