Elegant, but boring

Gorgeous
This color was out of my usual comfort zone, but so glad I took the chance. Everything about this dress is amazing: the neckline, the sleeves, the print, everything. Got so many compliments and felt beautiful. Very fitted and no stretch, but fits TTS. I’m 5’3” and wore 4” heels, so it hit mid-calf.

Stunning, but big on top
The color and fabric are beautiful, but it’s a little baggier on the top than I would have liked. Definitely needed a backless bra to “fill it out”. Fit TTS from the waist down and hit a little above the ankles.

Fun Dress!
I love anything by Self-Portrait and this dress didn't disappoint. Wore this for an anniversary dinner with my husband. A little poofy on the bottom, but the low cut top makes it seem less over-the-top for a nice dinner. As is typical with this designer, you need to size up. I'm usually a 0 or 2, but with this designer a UK 8/4 fits perfectly.

Best Navy Jumpsuit!
After trying on every navy jumpsuit available on RTR, this one was hands down the winner for an informal daytime wedding. Very form-fitting, so it shows every lump and bump, but nothing that can't be fit with some spanx. Got so many compliments and felt amazing all day.

Wore this for a friend's birthday party and I got so many compliments. Beware, though, this shows every line and lump, so definitely need Spanx with this to keep a clean line. This brand also runs very small. I'm usually a 0 or 2, but the size 40 (US size 4) fit like a glove.

Wore this for my birthday dinner. Fit like a glove, but the waistband was a little tight. Not too tight that it was uncomfortable, though. Just sexy enough that my boyfriend loved it, but appropriate enough to wear to a nice restaurant with the parents.

I really wanted to love this dress. The patterns and fabric are beautiful, but the style and cut were off. Even with a belt there was so much extra fabric that I couldn't wear it.

Great dress for work and out with friends afterwards. Heavy fabric makes it warm enough to wear in cool weather. Ran very large though. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and even an XS was huge on me.

Sexy without trying too hard
Rented this as a last minute option to wear to a party in the Hamptons. Worked perfectly since it was the perfect blend of casual and sophisticated. The nautical stripes were perfect for the location too!

I wore this to a friend's conservative black tie wedding and it was beautiful. The only 2 sizes available when I rented it were the 4R and the 6P. The 4R fit like a glove, but was about 6 inches too long, even with 4inch heels. The 6P was the perfect length but was too big on top, so I went with the 4R and despite stepping on it a few times, it worked out great. The side slit and shoulder cutouts give it just the right amount of sexiness.

As usual, I got tons of compliments on my Rent The Runway dress. The colors and fabric make it perfect for a daytime wedding. I usually wear a size 4 in Milly dresses but in this case the size 2 fit perfectly.

When I first put it on, I was afraid it was a little bright, but still perfect for an outdoor summer evening party. The dress fit like a glove and I got so many compliments (from men and women). Nearly impossible to zip the top part by yourself, so make sure you have someone to help you get dressed.

Wore this for a charity event and it looked amazing. Got lots of compliments and felt great in it. The only drawback was the length (I'm only 5'3" so it was a bit too long), but I used temporary hem tape to make it knee length. Worked like a charm!
