I wore this to a black tie wedding. It was a last resort dress but ended up being amazing. It gives just enough cleavage without being inappropriate and it's really flattering. It was a little long, but they didn't have petite in a 4. Probably would be perfect length on someone at least 5'4. It started to fall down a little bit towards the end of the night and I had to pull it up a few times, but that's generally an issue with strapless. Super comfortable. Would rent again.

Ok. Tricky dress but definitely worth it. It's tight in the rib cage and kinda big everywhere else. The chest area is awkward because the upper part of it is really loose but with some double sided tape it's doable. With that said, I got many many compliments and it's truly a gorgeous and unique dress. It's in good condition, probably one of the best condition dresses I've rented. The back is so pretty and makes the dress worth renting. I regret not taking a picture of it. Anyway, to sum it up...if you're willing to work with it a little it's a great dress to rent. Ps: I love that RTR sends a little packet of goodies with the dress. Always thought that's a nice touch.

Okay so the dress itself really deserves 5 stars. Great material and it's flattering. You can tell it's expensive. It runs SO large. It was big on me but it was my own fault cause I didn't listen to the reviews and size down. My true size is a 6 but honestly I probably should have worn a 2. The dress was not fitted at all but I just made it work. With that said I'm not sure if the dress is oddly shaped and if you have no hips then it will never look right, or if the dress itself just runs large, or if people before me stretched it out. Either way it ended up being kind of a flowy dress on me but it still worked.

I rented this dress for my engagement party. It is a lot more shimmery and sparkly than it appears in pictures. It's almost immature looking. The dress is really flattering from certain angles and really unflattering from others. However, it may be because I really needed the 4 instead of the 6 so the extra fabric in the midsection made me appear frumpy. Also, the gold band around the middle falls in a really weird place, not exactly around your waist but slightly below it, which I found gave an illusion of a bigger waist. Again, this may be because it was a little too big. (Side note: I am not sure if the 4 would have even worked because the dress fit in the chest, so if you're bigger chested like me you may have this same sizing problem.) With that said, everyone at my party told me how much they loved my dress, but I was really self conscious in it because i felt it was very teenager-y and I felt it was relatively unflattering. It wasn't horrible but definitely not one of my favorites.

This dress is so different and so stunning that it's really hard not to stand out. I got more compliments than I have ever gotten in my life. I wore a 6, which is what I usually wear, but I said it runs small because I have NO hips at all and it fit me perfectly around the hips while dresses are usually big on me in that area. So, if you have hips, size up. i found the top to fit my bigger chest quite nicely. It was a little snug, but not a big deal at all, easy to zip. I am only 5'2'' so the dress was perfect length on me, but I can see it being short on taller people. Pictures really don't do the dress justice. It is really nice material and very thick. You can tell it's expensive. The ONLY reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is falling apart a little. I felt a little like a seamstress before wearing it. I had to trim the tweed on the top a lot because there were so many pulls and snags. Also, obviously the lining on my specific dress was torn and redone because it hangs about an inch lower than the dress so i had to pin it up. Also, when I got it, it reeked of perfume so I am questioning if it was actually dry cleaned. But really I love love love the dress...would buy it if I could.

its really flattering. it's hard for a busty but petite girl like me to find a strapless dress that works, but this is definitely it. i read some reviews that it runs small, but i did not find that to be the case at all. the 6 fit me like a glove and i'm a true 6. it was a little long on my 5'2'' body, but nothing that i didn't expect. it came right above the knee and it worked. i rented it with the kate spade necklace that its pictures with, and in my opinion, if you rent this dress you HAVE to rent the necklace. it really completes the look and it'll make you feel fancy. the only negative thing i have to say is that the color is a little different than in the picture, hence the reason me and my boyfriend don't exactly match. but the color is not ugly by any means. i wish i had taken better pictures in the dress because it really looked stunning.

The material of the dress is absolutely beautiful. It's very silky and you can tell that it isn't a cheap dress. The fit is definitely true to size, but if you have a larger chest definitely size up. The medium fit me well; however, I feel like it was a little bit tight in the chest. The large probably would have been more comfortable in the chest but then the rest of the dress definitely would have been way too big. The dress really is gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments. But, it might be time for rent the runway to retire this dress. It looks a little worn. I could tell stitching in the bust had been ripped and sewn again, and the boning felt a little bent which made it uncomfortable after a while.

This dress was even better than I expected it to be. I usually have a problem with dresses because I am petite with a large chest, but I got the small and medium and the small fit perfectly!! it wasn't too short or too long and it was very flattering. I loved the gold underneath and it made it perfect for New Year's Eve without being too glitzy. I felt classy, but still trendy. I wore it with gold Enzo Angiolini heels, a gold bangle, and long gold earrings and I got SO many compliments. I am absolutely in love with this dress.
