I rented this dress for my Bachelorette party and it was perfect! I got lots of compliments and I felt really confident in it. Based on user reviews, a size 6 would have been what I ordered but it was not available, so I ordered the 4 and 8. The 4 fit well, maybe a smidge snug, but doable. I decided to wear the 8 because it was a bit longer and therefore I felt more comfortable in it. That said, I do think the 6 would have been perfect, if it had been available. I am sorry to have to return it - I love it!

This is a beautiful dress and the size 4 fit well everywhere except in the sleeves which were very tight. I was able to get my arms in the sleeves but it was really uncomfortable and I am not one of those women who is willing to suffer for fashion. If the sleeves had been a pinch looser, it would have fit great. I was also surprised by how heavy the dress is. The liner is heavy (beautiful) but heavy. I also thought the sleeves would be sheer based on the photo, and they aren't. I chose this because I thought it would be a good choice of Portland in May, which can sometimes be a bit chilly, but this dress would be warm enough for a winter event (except the bare legs).
