These earrings were the perfect, unique twist to a plain white dress I rented this week. Alexis Bittar is an awesome designer to rent because her creations are special & offbeat--perfect for a one or two-time wear. A friend complimented them right as I sat down to dinner! I meant to wear this as an evening dress with heels but ended up spending a sunny Manhattan Sunday strolling around in it. Was so flattered by the attention I received for its cool design & great fit! The back is beautiful and a surprising twist. Beware it's a bit short! This dress goes great with brown leather accessories--wore it with a crossbody bag, flat sandals and sunglasses and felt like a moviestar. Recommend it 100%!

The waist band on this is snug, which could turn into a con if you ordered your regular size & a size down, like I had. Another thing I would note about this dress is I did not like the clear buttons on the straps. I also wish the top were tighter-fitting. All around--the proportions were a bit odd. Have to admit it's a cute style though. Definitely worth a shot, provided you order the right size.
