Fabric is amazing - lightweight, cute embroidery. However, the waistband is unbelievably tight. Couldn't wear it high waisted (as meant to be worn, I think?) or on the hips because it was uncomfortably tight, especially for this style!

Fun, if not a little tricky
Once I got used to the fit it was fun to wear: twice dressed up with heels and jewelry for dinner, once casual with sneakers. Apron-like wrap skirt was a little tight over my hips, but the shirt oversized underneath. Too short and fussy for work though.

The lining is freakishly smaller than the dress- if you have bigger hips/butt, it will feel super tight even though the dress itself isn’t.

I wanted to love it but…
Not for smaller busts - couldn’t fill out the bustier properly, even with sticky boobs, which you’d need because of the side panels. The side panels and print (it’s not straight black/white polka dots, more of non- uniform dots with turquoise around them!), and the material (almost linen-like) make it more of a maxi than a gown (less dressy).

Crinoline miss
Was so excited about this dress - I sized up (because Self-Portrait) but would have been better off up top with a 4. The top fit beautifully but the crinoline was crumpled in the weirdest places, which made me look like I was wearing a misplaced hoop skirt /clown outfit so I had to go with something else. Fabric was beautiful, though.
