Did not wear the dress as the 4R I received was slightly damaged on the neck line.
The 4R fit well and was a great length. Unfortunately, the boning that made the neck line erect was damaged and therefore pretty unflattering. The material was beautiful and the dress fit like a glove.

Fun, formal holiday party with a friend. Dress was perfect, in spite of the snow.
Received this dress as replacement/backup. Thank goodness for the overnight delivery and the very helpful customer service rep who suggested it based on my size, color preference, etc. I wore the 4R which was a little shorter than I'd have liked but I felt that with 3" heels, the 4L would have likely been too long. It seems that 5'6" is on the cusp of 4R & 4L depending on the dress. I don't enjoy wearing a lot of jewellery, so the neckline was perfect for me as it added some visual interest without embellishments. The dress was a little snug in the hip area but I feel the 6 would have been too large. I didn't need to wear a bra and the "push-up" effect of the dress made the fit even more flattering.
