Runs very small
I read other reviews and sized up to a small as I read this ran small and had no give. Sadly, I was never able to wear it because the waistline cut into my ribs (and I have a short torso!), shoulders way too snug, and hips were too small—the buttons gap at the crotch. I should have gone up 2 sizes! Such a pretty fabric and colors, sigh.

The material is thin and makes me think I should get some shapewear, just to rein things in a little and smooth it out. Not a dress for days you feel bloated! But I love the color and it's very comfortable dress, paired great with my ivory blazer for a work luncheon.

Will have this for years
If you are at all broad in the shoulders I would lean a size up. I wavered between XS and S, went with the S and it's juuust ok in the shoulders. Have worn it once so far, for a period-piece audition and will probably bust it out at the holidays. Gonna be one of those classic shirts that when it's the right occasion, it's perfect, but won't wear all the time.

Love this shirt and I've worn it once, but it is definitely too tight in the shoulders, for me. I will continue to wear it to the right occasions, but have to be very careful not to move my arms too much.

Surprisingly versatile
Fits just slightly on the smaller end in the shoulders but mostly true to size. Color can transition well to fall but bright enough for spring/summer. I've mainly dressed it down with jeans and a gray cardigan for "nice" casual dinners.

Different than the photos
The fabric and colors on this were totally different than I realized, somehow. Not in a bad way, but just a very different texture--more like linen. Still fits and flows nicely, great for summer and easy to dress up or down.
