I've never gotten so many compliments in my life
Wore this for a cocktail/black tie optional wedding in New York where I had to bounce from a Catholic ceremony directly to the reception. I was covered up but the way the waist is stitched still showed off my shape. I worried it would come across as matronly, so I styled it with big gold hoops and snake print heels to young it up a little, but really I had nothing to worry about; it's fun and moves beautifully and is definitely not devoid of shapeliness. I had multiple people tell me it was their favorite dress at the wedding and literally just fielded compliment after compliment after compliment. Keep in mind this dress probably fits exactly true to size-- I ordered two sizes up from my usual (10 and 12r weren't available) and you can see there's a lot of bunching around my waist and it read really long. While this made it literally as comfy as pajamas, I recommend ordering your true size.

So comfy, HAS POCKETS
This dress has to be the closest I've ever come to buying something I rented (only didn't because I promised myself getting a RTR membership was to keep my closet size DOWN, not own more crap). It's a soft, comfy jersey material with a very forgiving stretchy waist and BIG. OLE. POCKETS. As a large chested woman who truly loves the comforts of getting to wear a bra, my favorite aspect of this piece is being able to easily wear a balconette bra with it-- totally covered the bra itself and straps easily hidden under the wider straps of the dress. This only falls apart when you have stuff in the pockets like your phone, keys, wallet, etc. because you're a psychopath who refuses to carry a purse. The dress straps are as stretchy as the rest of it and the whole dress will get pulled down (revealing bra) pretty easily. Honestly even the bottom of the dress is a little heavy, so throughout the day you run the risk of this happening here and there. Otherwise, a perfect colorful addition to a kickass summer wardrobe.

So comfy and flattering
I LOVED these jeans! They're a great wash for everyday wear and the little kick at the bottom makes them feel a little more Gen Z than your average skinny jean. They have a little bit of stretch to them and do give as you wear. I ordered a size up because I'm so used to being burned renting my usual size and finding the jeans too tight and feeling like a busted can of biscuits, but for once I think I would have been better off in my usual size or maybe even a size down because of the stretch. I was able to keep em up with a belt and wore them I think every day I had them in my possession. Will very likely rent again!

Shorter than expected, weird sleeves
This top is colorful and fun and definitely has a place in the world— just not mine. I thought this would be a relatively long crop based on the model photo, but once you apply boobs to the equation you're looking at a VERY short shirt. I wore a contrasting color longline bralette underneath so that when I moved my arms it would look intentional that my bra showed, but when I say moved my arms I mean at all. Forward, backward, up even enough to grab my glass off the table, bra was out. The sleeve cut was also weirdly restrictive but again, I think this is related to the top not being designed to work around a relatively gifted chest. Overall I bet this would be really fun if you're rocking something less than DDDs, but for the big-chested, beware.

Impossibly good for a basic tank
I rented this for general wear; whether I matched it with a skirt or sweatpants it was perfect. I know what you're thinking— "but it's just a tank top." And like, it is, but also it's not? The fabric is thick and structured but still breathable and laid back. The neckline is just the right cut to show off a little but not too inappropriate to go for a walk with the dog. The color is beautiful and vibrant without being too bright or showy. I don't know how to describe it right but I do know when I saw it was almost $200 to buy I still really, deeply considered it. For a tank top. But THE tank top. Just rent this one.
