The slit is very very high/right in the middle of your legs!
Although I originally chose this dress, it wound up being a “no” for a wedding. The picture is a bit misleading. The slit in the dress goes up veryyy high and isn’t appropriate for dancing or sitting unless you want your undergarments/etc to be seen. It gives you about 3 inches of coverage until the slit really opens up which is too risky for me personally! But besides that, this is a gorgeous dress for a different occasion. The fabric is so beautiful snd the cut is flattering on a smaller chest.

I was given this dress as an alternative to the Medium Stylestalker dress for a wedding.
The original dress I wanted wasn’t available (as I found out) the day before I was supposed to leave for a wedding. They sent me this black dress instead. The fact that RTR felt like this was an appropriate substitution for a wedding is confusing. This dress is very corporate feeling/conservative and the fabric is very heavy. I wouldn’t recommend this dress for a wedding.

So many compliments!
The dress fit true to size, although if you have a less curvy body the hip area may be a little bit loose (the dress is made to fit more of an hourglass shape). Otherwise, this dress is perfect for a wedding. I received so many compliments on the color, easy to dance in and it stayed up all night!

I did not wind up wearing this dress
This dress does fit true to size! I ordered a size up because reviews said it was a tight fit and hard to move in, but I'd suggest sticking with your size. I'm normally a 4, and ordered a 6. It was way too big! (I'm 5'6" and 130lb, 36 B)
