awkwardly cropped
with high waisted jeans, it barely hits the top of the jeans so it hits at this awkward spot of not fully committing to being cropped or regular length, so everything just looks a little poorly put together

this is a cotton linen material... inappropriate for formal-wear, idk why it would be in the "gown" category of rent the runway... would be a cute vacation dress, maybe date night, idk, but not at all what I was looking for based on the rtr description/category

Photos made it look more like tweed, but it's not - it has a very young/fun vibe. Was able to wear it on a date, but would be a bit to playful for the office. Material has sparkles woven into it. Buttons are actually snaps

I thought that this would be a great dress for a garden party, but in reality I felt like I was the mother of the bride. (very matronly). the slip is much more subtle than i expected... the dress also has these awkward strands of fabric (to tie a bow at the neckline), but no matter how I tied them, it just looked weird. Did not wear this dress

I wanted to love this dress, but there was truly no way to make it flattering. In the photos it looks like light, flowy volume, but in reality, it is just a lot of fabric. The chest area is unflattering and the sleeve elastic is too tight. I said it fit "too big" from the selection above, but it's not a matter of having ordered a size too big, it's just an unflattering dress

ended up not wearing this because I couldn't find a bra that would go with it... the part that covers your chest is much smaller, I'm a 32C and I can't imagine what people with larger size boobs would do, there's just not enough coverage. Sleeves are also a bit tight and itchy

Dress is adorable! Very flattering, feminine but still professional! The material isn't super breathable, so make sure you wear good deodorant, lol. A few people comments about the sleeves being tight.. it wasn't an issue for me, but I can definitely see the potential. Also - it had pockets!! Love
