I received this dress as a backup after my first choice was not available in both sizes I requested, and it ended up working perfectly for the Brooklyn wedding I attended last weekend. Among many other compliments, someone I didn't know told me that she thought I had "easily one of the top two dresses in the room," and the groom told me I looked like the encyclopedia entry for his "nighttime funtime" wedding dress code. The material was very comfortable and form-fitting, but I did think the long sleeves were a little warmer than I might have ideally liked. I imagine this dress would be good for New Year's given its fun/formal/glam vibe. As for RTR, customer service was excellent -- I exchanged multiple emails with multiple representatives when it became apparent that my first-choice dress was no longer available, and everyone was very responsive, polite, and helpful. The dresses arrived on time and were easy to return. This was my first time using RTR, but I am sure it will not be my last.
