BAD shoulder pads
The shoulder pads are SO pronounced in person that it made the jacket completely unwearable. In addition, the wrist holes were a bit tight. I wear a 6.25-6.5 ring, I don't think that I have massive hands, but it was tricky getting my hands through the wrist openings.

Fabulous Dress
One thing - if you're on the shorter side you may need to shorten the straps. I used a safety pin to do so, and my long hair covered it.

Too big
This was my backup dress and it was just too big. I ordered a size larger (I sometimes fall between sizes). This fit well in the bust but was clearly too big everywhere else. Even without that I loved my first choice dress a lot and happily wore that dress without being too disappointed this one didn't work out. In the right size/for the right occasion, though, this dress would be great.

Great Dress (but a bit worn)
I've waited and waited to have an event where this dress would be appropriate. I was so excited to get the dress in and wear it. It's material is thick(er) and high-quality - what you expect from Milly. However, I had to pin up the lining. As other RTR-ers have noted this is typically a sign that the dress has been overly dry-cleaned - and I'm not surprised, it's truly beautiful! Anyway, it was an easy fix but still the reason I had to knock it down 1 star. Also - the acidic yellow color looked SO great against my olive skin & dark hair! Definite recommend!

Comfortable and Chic
Pros: Great looking, slightly different LBD. Neoprene is comfortable, stretchy, and the mesh neckline is very flattering. Cons: Not sure if it's attributable to the body-con style of the dress, but it did ride up a smidge while walking (not terribly so, though), and sit was rather short when sitting. When standing it hit a couple of inches above my knees (not sure if the angle of the photo represents that accurately). I'd recommend for a date (or as a less formal cocktail dress even).

Sadly underwhelmed
While the dress fit nicely (definitely a tight dress, though), the shoulders were far too big which resulted in the already low-cut scoop neck became an unbecoming, wardrobe malfunction danger zone. I did wear the dress out, as I did not purchase a back up style, but I would definitely caution others with short torsos. (I say short torsos because it was most obvious that the shoulder straps were too long when the waistband of the dress was in the correct place on me.) I gave the dress 3 stars because it's gorgeous, and although it didn't work for me perfectly (I was conscious of the neckline all night), ultimately a girl with a longer torso (or just taller) would probably not have to worry about this problem.

A great dress for an evening spring/summer event!
Sunny yellow color, definitely has some give & I could have gone with the 2 (I normally wear either a 2 or 4, and went with the 4 to be safe). Hit me just a bit above the knee, the detailed seaming is great in person. 10/10 would rent again.
