This dress would be beautiful for a new years eve event, or any winter event. But for the summer, not so much. The color is a tad bit different then the picture shows, its almost more purple. I didnt end up wearing this dress because i got it for a summer wedding and it just wasnt appropriate for that. The size 4 fit good but had some difficulty zippering up, and it is a good length to not be too revealing!

after reading all of the reviews i expected this dress to fit too small if anything, however it was actually BIG! i am 5'5" about 140 pounds and i got the 42r, the hip/stomach area was a little too baggy. nothing too noticeable but it bothered me. the dress was beautiful though, i wore it to a black tie affair in nyc which was filled with a-list celebrities and extremely rich people, i fit right in wearing this dress! and many people stopped to compliment me on it!
