This was my backup dress, and that was a good thing
I rented this as a backup for a formal "garden" themed black tie optional gala. I was fortunate that my first choice worked out because I needed about 3 inches more height and two inches of width in my shoulders to have made this work - even though it was the small, and I'm not flat on top by any means, my narrower, petite shoulders meant it just fell right open. Petite ladies, prepare for a lot of safety pins if you're interested. However the length was good for a shorty and it is a gorgeous dress.

Felt fancy, but 100% myself!
I wish I could get my pictures to upload, but picture a short person with narrow shoulders and a narrow ribcage feelin herself in this cute dress. I was almost scared away from this dress because of how small the other reviews say it runs, but it definitely depends on where you carry your weight! The skirt is full and forgiving enough that if you're pear shaped, only go up one size. I'm a 6 and ordered an 8 and a 10, and the 10 truly fell right off me when zipped up. The shape was great for my curves, and I loved the length - as a short lady it came down to my ankles so I wasn't in danger of tripping. I loved having a lot of freedom of movement to stand all night and run around for a work gala, and when I got off duty I was able to dance totally freely in this! I got tons of compliments and felt fun and beautiful. The arms did leave some red marks on my upper arms so not the most comfy dress out there, but #noregrets. I loved it.
