Being 5 foot even, it is very challenging finding a dress that does not drag on the ground, even with 4 inch heels. This dress still hit the ground, but probably by only an extra inch (whereas I'm normally battling several inches of drag). The dress is comfortable and slightly stretchy. It moves well with the body and there was no need to "tug" at the dress. If I could have found my fashion tape I would have taped up the lace at the top of the dress. It fell over and did not always look as it should. That being said, this is one of my favorite dresses I've rented.

Absolutely LOVED this dress. Like other reviewers stated, it is loose through the waist. I liked not having to wear Spanx for once. I had to pin the shoulder because the front came down just a little too low on me. As a result of the pinning the dress was shorter than I generally like to wear a dress, but was probably about the length the dress is intended to be worn (I'm 5 feet tall so usually everything is a little long on me). I wish I had some double stick tape for the "strapless" side of the dress. It seemed to be a little loose under the arm and gapped just a little. I attempted to wear my strapless bra with one strap but because of the angle of the strap I could not adequately hide it. Strapless bra worked fine though I usually like a little more support.

This dress is long! The "crease" in the picture where my finger tips reach is a result of me constantly pulling the dress up so I could walk. I am short and even with 4 inch heels, this dress was very long. Still, it was quite beautiful. The Spanx and strapless bra were essential. Sometimes I can get away without the Spanx but this dress showed the bumps and lumps. Though I think the general style is age approriate (I am 40), I don't think I would do the material again. Sequins and folds and rauching seem to be more forgiving. Still, I loved the dress and felt beautiful all night long in it.

I absolutely loved this dress. Not only was it stunning on, it was also very comfortable. There is stretch and give so it is easy to move around. I wore a regular bra underneath and the little snaps in the tank sleeves kept the tank sleeves on my shoulders and in place. Although the back was cut lower than I expected, I could still wear the bra without the straps showing. I received compliments all night long. I normally wear a size 2R but in this dress I wore 0R. This is the first time I've worn this designer, though.

This dress was the talk of the ball among a sea of typical black, red, and other "normal" dresses. I even had complete strangers coming up and asking about the dress. Of course I sang the praises of RTR. We live in a fashion desert where the closest shopping is an 1.5 hours away. I am 5 ft tall with an athletic build and wore the 2R with 5 inch heals. The gown brushed the ground but I did not trip over it when I walked. The sequence made the gown heavy but I had no issue with the gown slipping. It stayed up and I did not have to do the "strapless tug" even once. It was slightly scratchy under the arms but this did not bother me at all. Love, love, love this dress and wish I could purchase it!
