Too tight in the waist for me
Wasn't able to wear, will size up next time. My waist is 35" and I checked madewell's site and made the wrong call, a 32 would have been perfect here.

Great fancy date night
Felt so sexy in this! The top was a squeeze but it made the girls look great. Was able to wear a normal front closure bra with it too. The back cut out hit me in an unflattering place but I wasn’t concerned. I really loved this!

I don’t know if it got mishapen before it got to me… but the shoulder pads made it jut out over my arms and I felt like I was in Star Trek or something. It was also a bit large for me in the hips. Didn’t end up wearing it (XL size).

Great for work holiday party
Wore this a few times! To my work holiday party and then on new years eve. I loved the fabric, very soft and warm. The pattern was unique and the neckline with the buttons was fun. Only reservation is I had to size up to fit my chest, and that meant the hip area was pretty baggy. If I owned this I would have gotten it tailored to show my waistline a bit better.

So warm and cozy, but also stylish
I feel like I wore this every day, and I kept it for like a month. It was great throw on over anything when I was cold during the work day, but also was stylish enough to wear out. My friends called it my "David" sweater (from Schitt's Creek). I would have bought it if it wasn't so expensive!

Got this for my cousin's bridal shower- fit just right but I would have liked the snap holding the top shut to be just a little lower. It ended up looking very conservative on me. Wasn't bad, but could have been a bit more flattering. For context I am 42" bust, 33" waist, 41" hip.

Wore this with black leggings and boots to a fall birthday party. It's a bit sheer, so I wore a black bra underneath which looked good. The fit was really flattering especially with the back hanging lower.

Could be cute but too tight for me
Hard to say if it really runs small because I'm always between sizes. My hips are 44" and waist about 34" right now. I was able to close the pants but because they were just a little too small they didn't fit right and pulled in the wrong places. I rented a 14 and I think a 16 would have been perfect. Loved how light weight they were!

Flow-y and great color
Loved the color on this one, but I didn't wear it because it looked like a tent on me. Was very loose, and because I have a bigger chest (36dd, 43" measurement) it just flowed out from there. Wasn't terrible, I just didn't chose to wear it.

The shape of this wasn't flattering on me. I have a 34" waist, 43" hip and slimmer legs, and it just had a lot of extra fabric on the upper legs. Probably would fit great for someone with a different body type! Hips and waist fit me well.

Beautifully cut dress, a bit tight in the bust
I loved this dress, but I wish I had like 1" more fabric in the chest. It closed fine, but the buttons were pulling in a way that felt inappropriate. I wanted to wear this for Easter but it felt inappropriate, so I ended up just wearing it to a dinner with friends. I have a 43" bust for reference, and wore the XXL

I LOVED these, will definitely rent again but I will likely size down. The waist is draw string and these were just a little too big on me (my hips are 43" right now). I wore them so many times and dressed them up with nice work flats, and a blazer.
