Love FARM Rio. This dress got several compliments from women. It’s short and I would call it more of a standing dress than a sitting dress for me. It has a narrow plunging neck line, there’s one tiny hook to help a little bit with that, but a bra would be difficult. It’s a nice light cotton and was comfortable in hot weather. The fabric belt is stitched in place and apparently meant to be tied on the side and not in the center, and I’m not very good at that. But I absolutely love this dress and think I will keep it for a little while! 😊

I want to love this, TTS
It’s so beautiful, the color and the material and the flowy and forgiving fit are all lovely. But it feels like I’m a clown, a very fashionable clown in perhaps a Milanese circus, no garish colors allowed 😉 just too tent-like and the ruffles feel goofy and bib like. But it really might be just me as I am an apple and quite bulky up top already. The top itself is just pretty. Maybe if I had an outdoor afternoon tea or something?

The attached tie ruins it
It’s very small although it’s stretchy, and yes terribly short, but as you can see the real problem is the dumb attached tie. I thought it looked great from the front and I would have loved to wear this dress, but the two short velvet ties right at your gut and can’t be tied on the side where they would look great. A rare miss for MISA.

Heck yes it’s almost magically flattering. I’m not really slender like that ruching makes me look! Wore to my valentines and bday dinner even though I was nervous and out of my comfort zone….so glad I did! Felt showy and shiny in the best way and got several compliments from women on it. I did use my Microstitch to close the plunging neckline about half an inch. I’m a 6/8 apple and this 6 was a little loose in the belly but fit like a glove in rib cage due to my squishy back fat. Hooray RTR I loved it!

Not for me, it turns out I can’t stand looking at that much of me, but it’s a great dress. There is a ribbed corset-like infrastructure in the bodice with its own hook. It fits like a glove, certainly do not size down.

Because I instantly fell in love! I am gonna keep this thing all winter ladies, sorry! This was the right size or maybe slightly large for me and I am a 6/8 on top. I could probably have sized down and of course it’s a very blousy cut so keep that in mind. Luxe, luxe, luxe. Good old Gwyneth Paltrow quiet luxury type garment. The cut, perfect. The gold details, perfect. The high-end buttons, more of the same. Really, it was transformative from the moment I donned it. I think it’s my first Sandro rental and I will be paying more attention to this brand in the future.

This was the right size, I just can’t pull it off with my blobby body. But I really really liked it, the fabric is like stretchy liquid metal, the slit is ludicrous, notorious, sensational, you better be ready to show some leg and embrace it, and even still I think a little fashion tape to anchor it at the top is wise!

Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it, didn’t choose to wear it to the holiday cocktail parties for which I was considering it. I agree with another reviewer that said the belt is too flimsy to stand up to all that lace or be flattering. My husband said it didn’t seem like a cocktail dress. He doesn’t know much about that, but I took it to mean he didn’t think it was fun or sexy. 😊 But you might have a better body and more appropriate event for it, in which case: this size 8 fit my chubby apple torso that is typically an 8/10 like a glove. It was pretty snug around my breasts. Good quality, sober but pretty color. Nice long sleeves. Buttons in good shape.
