I typically wear a large and this ran a bit big (not a surprise based on the silhouette.) I have gained some weight over the winter - this made me feel skinny and amazing. Wore it with a lace slip that peaked out the bottom. Thinking about buying this for my closet! Small note - this is a silk material with some texture. It is a bit fancier than I thought for the bbq I attended - but I wore it anyway.

I have rented Elizabeth and James dresses before and the size 10 always fit best. This was a bit snug and unflattering without shapewear underneath. But unfortunately the cut on the side doesn't lend itself to wearing a shapewear piece. If I was 20 lbs thinner I would love to wear this.

this dress is an amazing color. if i were a tall and slender, i would totally have worn it. unfortunately it just looked like a potato sack on me so i didn't wear it.

Wish I had better pictures to explain how amazing thus dress is. It wasn't what I expected when I first opened the package because it is a mid weight rayon jersey, but on it hugs in all the right places and is super flattering. For those who complained about the fabric not laying in the right place, I feel they may have not had hips to pull this off. Slit doesn't really allow you to wear spanx, but I just rolled the leg of mine up a little. Super glamorous and received compliments all night at the wedding. This is a must rent for any formal affair this winter.

i rented this to wear to a cocktail party where i was checking in people at the door. i felt sophisticated and sexy, but completely appropriate at the same time. the length is right and the cut not too low. the stylist suggested that i size down for my back up size and she ended up being correct that this runs a bit large.

this was a second option that i did not end up wearing for my sister's stateside celebration. although beautiful, not the right cut for my body type. is is best for people with more narrow or straight silhouettes. the waist seem on me hit below my waist and didn't flatter my hourglass shape. i also felt that the length was odd and not flattering. the color is beautiful in person and on the right person could be a show stopper.

i had bought two dresses for my sister's stateside wedding celebration, but didn't feel that they were special enough. two days before the event i logged on and found this dress. i did wear a nude lace bralet because i didn't feel comfortable going without. i didn't mind that it showed. thank you for saving the day rtr!

i was a little nervous to rent something from this designer especially because the sizing is lettered rather than numbered. BUT, it was perfection for a casual summer bbq. it is super short and i wore high waisted shorts underneath. others mentioned it is see through and it is important to note that this is only wear the eyelet is so a nude bra does work. a slip isn't absolutely necessary. would be perfect for vacations or casual rehearsal dinners held in the summer.

i rented this at the very last minute before going away on a bachelorette weekend and ended up not wearing it. i had hoped it would be easy to throw on to walk around during the day shopping. the hips are really small and looked scandalous and the fabric was rather flimsy.

the fabric on this dress is tough for girls who need to hide imperfections. even with two pairs of spanx on, i still felt it wasn't the best looking on me and reason for which i am not posting a picture. i substituted the flimsy self belt for a black sequin sash in an attempt to give me some waist definition, but overall this dress is cut very straight so it either clings or hangs and not in a flattering way. not the best for my body type. the color is pretty, but again wasn't the best for me because it almost matched my hair exactly. i love the idea of this dress, but wouldn't rent it again.
