The dress is comfortable and flattering, I got tons of comments. The XS fit me reasonably well, but I wore the S to allow myself a little more comfort and because the XS shoulder pads were slightly narrow on my frame - the S looked a little more natural. The dress is stretchy and forgiving though, so could have done either one. Some issues I ran into were that the shoulder pads were all bunched up and took quite a bit of finnagling to straighten out through multiple layers of fabric so they didn't look like lumpy pauldrons. I also had a lot of sequins get stuck on each-other as I was wearing it, so would have to pause and un-tangle them a few times throughout the night (sleeve sequin awkwardly stuck to stomach, have to pause for 10 seconds in a strange pose to un-stick them). Overall it was a great, easy-wearing, comfortable dress and I definitely recommend it, but you have to be slightly careful.
