Dazzler
Rented this to wear with the Trio gown from Laundry. Not only was it gorgeous in its own right, but it complemented the dress well -- in fact, more than one person commented on how well it seemed to match. It fit a little more tightly than I would've thought, but I have fairly wide wrists. It was still comfortable to wear, just a little tricky to clasp. The effect was well worth that minimum trouble.

Absolutely sensational
I am not sure I've ever liked a gown more -- not just from RtR, but of any formal gown I've ever worn. The pattern is MUCH more dazzling in person than it looks from the website pictures; I got compliments throughout the night. And yet it was a very comfortable dress to wear: the sequins didn't chafe, the fit was tight enough to look glamorous without constricting movement, and the pattern provided just enough "cover" to make sure bra, spanx, etc. did not reveal any telltale signs. My only caveat was that it was really short; I am taller but only wear about 1 1/2" heels, which means the regular sizes usually do me better than the long. Not only did this reveal almost my full foot, but also, when I tried on the backup size (an 8L), it wasn't very much longer! Honestly, I didn't care. The dress was so gorgeous and comfortable that I happily put on a shiny pair of shoes to go with it and danced the night away. I may well rent this again and would recommend it to almost anyone -- particularly busty ladies. I find that fitted dresses like are often too tight in the chest, but this one was just right.

FABULOUS cocktail dress!
I loved literally everything about this dress. I went up one size from my usual, but the fabric turned out to be stretchy enough that I doubt it was necessary. (That said, the fabric also looked good at the larger size -- no drooping or sagging.) Gorgeous emerald green color -- comfortable sleeves -- modest hemline but with enough details on the dress to keep it from seeming matronly or boring -- interesting pleated neckline -- and the shirring on the sides, which allowed the dress to hug the body without revealing every single dip or bulge. Flattering, comfy, stunning: Everything about this one is terrific.

Beware the sleeves
I ordered this dress after checking to make sure that the fabric had some stretch, because I was worried about the sleeves fitting my arms, which are fairly muscular. While there is some give, the sleeves were still far too narrow to allow me to comfortably wear the gown. Others who have heavier and/or more muscular arms should take this into account before ordering. In every other respect, the gown was gorgeous -- I wish I could have worn it!

Attention-getter!
I got more compliments on the necklace than the dress! Total strangers stopped me to say how much they liked it. My only caution: I'd also rented showy earrings, but with this necklace it would've been too much. If you rent this (and you will love it!) you'll probably want simpler/smaller earrings to go with.

Showy & sensational
I got both the 8r and 10r in this. The 8 fit, but just felt a little too constrictive around the chest. The 10r was much more comfortable. I am 5'8", and the Rtr website recommends a long at that height, but I think they assume everyone wears very high heels. With 2 inch heels I still had to be careful not to step on the hem of the regular, so keep that in mind. The off-the-shoulder sleeves & bodice stay in position all night, no tugging. It looked great! I'd rent it again.

Dramatic and elegant
WHen I first took this dress out of the box I wasn't sure what to think -- as other reviewers have said, it is a VERY dark blue, plus I wasn't sure about the boning in the bust line. However, it turned out to be a terrific dress on. It was comfortable; the fit was sleek and yet forgiving; and I got compliments on the dress all night. As a G-cup, I especially appreciated being able to wear a strapless/off the shoulder dress without worrying about undue cleavage exposure; the support built into the bust might have looked odd from above, but from every other angle it looked fine, and it made sure I didn't have to do the endless strapless bra re-adjusting that is usually the case! The only caveats: As others have said, this dress runs VERY long. I got the regular, and even though I am 5'8" and wore 3-inch heels, I still felt like the dress trailed the floor a bit more than I would have desired. Also, it crumpled more in transit than I would have anticipated given the material. The crumples came out fine with a steamer, but anyone hoping to wear it on very short notice or take it with them on a trip should be aware. At any rate, the dress was absolutely fantastic and I'd highly recommend it.
