Glorious piece evoking broadway opening scene vibes in fabric form (without the animals gathered on the rock.) I love the fiery, dramatic look, but my broad shoulders made the fit too tight, and the colors didn’t flatter me as much as I hoped. Still, the design is stunning

Hoping Third Time is Charm
RTR had me at sparkly cargos. Second attempt with these gorgeous but deeply unyielding pants. Fingers crossed the larger size will finally make peace with my gloriously full, retired-skater-girl booty — the kind that refuses to be compressed by mere fabric. I just want to wear sparkly cargos with my Docs and live my best “ollies are behind me, but the attitude remains” life. Third time’s coming… and these pants better be ready.

This top gave full “Groot meets glam” energy with that gorgeous mossy pattern. It would fit right into a the knoll, just with better lighting and cocktails. I paired it with a black skirt, pumps, and my vintage cashmere coat, and suddenly I looked like the chicest envoy from an enchanted forest. Soft, unique, and a total conversation starter. Wore this to the office with boots and chunky jewelry, and suddenly I was giving full “Miranda Priestly energy. Gen X vibes effortlessly out-styling the millennials. :-). Wore this to the Kennedy Center for the Nutcracker, and I must have looked good because the bartender doubled our Manhattans at 2 pm like it was primetime. The pleather (not leather!) looked sleek and the fit was spot-on—snug in the best way. I felt like the most put-together non-ballerina in the building. A matinee outfit with full evening impact!
