Wishing I heeded the warnings, SHORT :(
Ugh I had been wanting to rent this dress pretty much since joining RTR, but when I finally threw caution to the wind and decided to do so despite what some of the reviews had warned, the results were what I'd feared: too tight and too short! Not sure why I was expecting a different outcome, probably because I was so in love with how it looked, but anyone who's remotely tall and on the fence, I'm telling you right now; don't make the same mistake I did, this sucker is SHORRRT. Even though I ordered a size up trying to err on the safe side, ended up having to wear a dress I already had. Next time I'm sticking with my instinct/the reviews!

As comfortable as it was sassy!
Wore this for a sorority semi formal and the bright color + unique sleeves definitely helped to set this dress apart from the standard LBD! The fabric is super comfortable and loose, the fitted waist is not skin tight at all, great dress to dance in. Only thing I would say might be a little misrepresented by the picture is the overall color- definitely more of a traditional red than the reddish-orange the photo makes it look, otherwise a great dress!

Paired these with the Rebecca Taylor Noir Dancer Bodice dress and they dressed up my LBD without looking garish or costume-y. Not too heavy either- great earrings!

Short, but sophisticated!
I'm tall and long waisted, so for me, this dress was definitely SHORT! However, there is plenty of opaque, super flowy fabric that forms the skirt, making sure you never feel as exposed as your legs might make it appear! Sheen and texture of the fabric looks and feels super sophisticated, and is also super comfy. Wore this to my semi formal, and with the fabric tape RTR sends along with it, never had to worry about the dress falling while dancing the night away! I'd definitely recommend this LBD for any occasion where you're looking to feel classy and look sassy!
